  1. Shocked Alex hasn't provided you with any feedback on Nespresso yet!
  2. Oh, I totally agree. I enjoyed the episode for the visuals more than the content
  3. http://www.travelchannel.com/shows/uncommon-grounds Second episode is in Havana.. within the first 5 minutes I spotted not one, but two familiar faces. At the 11th minute mark, the Legend Toby makes his appearance Episode summary: Havana Nights The climate is perfect for Todd to explore Cuba, an island that's been off limits his entire life. In Havana, Todd meets up with guest star Les Stroud (Survivorman), and the two embark on an eventful journey across the island.
  4. The entibado method of rolling is generally discouraged and is no longer being taught in Cuba. All it takes is the slightest twist to make the cigar a tent peg. The bunch method is generally easier to roll and is less likely to produce a plugged up cigar. As for being able to identify it by looking at the foot, i don't know. 5. Great trip report Ryan! Reading it made me feel like i was there! ;p
  6. I'm always surprised by the amount of negative interactions people have with the ladies at the LCDH on 63rd in Varadero. I've spent hours upon hours there on the patio and in the humidor. The ladies have always treated me well and on many occasions have refused payment from me for drinks and the odd cigar. They have even facilitated purchases made for me by friends and family who were going to Varadero without me by holding stock for them to pick up quickly. Eva (the manager) is a very nice lady who has a very good grasp of the English language. Her staff can seem off putting at times, but I think that has more to do with the language barrier. I guess (as with so many other things) a relationship built over time is key. (I will let the other 2 guys in the picture identify themselves if they so desire)
  7. The Petit Cazadores are the way to go in that linea (imo). They happen to be my daily dog walking cigar
  8. ERDM Infante... Why? They are the only robusto I have in my cabinet at the moment.
