  1. One of my friends had a POS computer, took like a hour to get it running, so we forced him to use the call sign "Nothingworks" for the entire time.
  2. Man, we setup on my mom's large front porch about 8 of us playing UT 99. The cops got called on us cause we were yelling "sniper!" and other stuff. Good times, I recall the officer being supremely amused and somewhat intrigued.
  3. The Illusione Holy Lance Candela is fantastic, have smoked through multiple boxes over the years and always have some on hand. The 888 Candela is also good. I'd stick to Illusione's candelas in general as I just think he knows how to properly blend with it.
  4. Bummer, the 2022 LE belicoso was a standard in my rotation, really enjoyed them.
  5. The fact that I've scored these for $8 a stick pretty regularly is just...weird.
  6. I tend to smoke a decent assortment of NC's and my favorites tend to fluctuate a bit depending on mood, but a few that have become steady as of late: Sobremesa Brulee - toro vitola is the standout for this line for me Black works Studio Killer Bee petite corona - not the Connecticut, the original blend. Surrogates Animal Cracker 550 Also enjoying just about all the recent Nudies/Mofoh releases (stocked up during the last sale), would likely smoke a ton more, but I can often get some of my favorites in the NC world at ridiculously cheap prices through certain vendors.
  7. La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet no. 3 is a great one I think many CC smokers would enjoy, not strong or peppery at all and in a minuto type vitola.
  8. Don't get over to Tampa much except for Lightning games and concerts, but I would recommend Ulele over by the Armature works for dinner. https://ulele.com/
  9. Sounds interesting, would be interested how it smoked once it dried out as it sounds like it was way to wet.
  10. I'd second the DE Liga Privada no. 9 and T52 DC's. Frankly, for both of these lines, I've found the DC to be the best vitola, which is not what I'd expected.
  11. There's a quite a few of them, they are not as uncommon in NC as people think. They are often advertised as Corona's though, not Petit Coronas, no idea why. Few that I enjoy: Tatuaje Miami Noellas, the aforementioned Illusione Le Grand Classe Rex, Oliva Serie V. No. 4. Illusione also has the MK and Ultra MK, haven't had one in quite a long time though (may need to fix that). I used to really enjoy the Quesada Espana Corona, though recent examples haven't been as good as the original release. There's also some that are fairly close in size but not quite like the Black Works Studio Killer Bee Petite Corona (another favorite of mine).
  12. Oh, I'm pretty sure Hamlet has zero interest in recreating the inconsistency of Cuban production! 🤣 Had another last night and review still stands, excellent cigar!
  13. I'm a horrible cigar reviewer, but will say my experience ROTT with one today was superb. Smoked well, no relights necessary, and the draw (which I was hesitant about due to the talk of wanting a "tighter" draw, i.e. something I literally have never asked for on anything but an underfilled cigar) was perfectly spot on. Kudos on not shipping them dripping wet. Flavors where good, and I think most people will enjoy these quite a bit. I leave someone with a more intelligent palate than mine describe the flavors, but suffice it to say I think we have a winner here.
  14. Everytime I see someone complain of a cigar going bitter I'm like "oh, they got some tar buildup and didn't know to just cut it back from the head to instantly fix that." I mean, it's not as common a problem on habanos, so I get where many CC smokers may have not experienced the issue first hand, but I see this a lot with CC smokers transitioning over. Smoking slower usually prevents this, but sometimes you just have some leaf that is heavier with oils in a particular blend and it ends up kinda inevitable. In those cases, when you taste it (or see it, it usually visible right in the cut) just nip it back and it's gone.
