What to do...?

So I work for Honda in the service industry. In the last month I have had to go out on the road with two separate customers, but having a Fohiba in the cup holder area. Fohiba to the point where they weren't even trying to hide the quality haha. My question to you is do I tell the customer or let them smoke it?

Two ways it can go, either they appreciate the advice or they will think you are over-stepping your work boundaries. I agree, you need to gauge the situation depending on the person.

I had let one go without word, but the other had begun talking to me about it while on the drive. I let him know. He was thankful to know because he had apparently received it instead of some money owed. He was happy with me, but not with his "friend" haha.

I would let it go but follow up with gift of a couple of authentic ones. He will appreciate both the cigar and the gesture. Not to mention customer service at its best.
