PL magnificos. Lauded, highly respected. I tracked a pair down about 8 years ago and smoked the first one 5-6 years ago. Maybe the worst Cuban cigar I’ve ever had. Wind tunnel and wouldn’t stay lit. I have one more but I’m scared to smoke it. Eventually I will though. They can’t both be bad can they? A Cuban Davidoff. Would prefer the especial no1 the lancero. But I’d love to try one, one day even if it’s over the hump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I coincidentally had a pour of this in my glass when I saw the notification about your post. It is a very good whiskey. Generally, the bourbons are somewhere between 15 to 18 years old when they are blended. The ABV can be a bit brash so sometimes a warm-up whiskey is helpful. With that said, at the price point, there are numerous scotch that I would rather have, however few bourbons rival it.
Hasn’t Cuba done the same? Limited, regional, book, reserva, gran reserva, behike, 80th anniversary Monte, antique humidor, travel humidor, lcdh... anejado. I’m sure I missed something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m a big fan of warped. The la Colmena is great along with the blend the medio tempio. The Flor de valle is great as well, same goes for cloud hopper . Buy with confidence. If you don’t like them I’ll buy them from you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Smoked a PL RDL recently. Stunningly decadent, amazing construction. Great pair with a non peated scotch or Brut/EB champagne. Interestingly enough these were released the same year as the PL Legendarios Spain which is also a great cigar.
