Hi all, I am curious to know if they can manage to put all the 3 main kind of leaves in a small vitola with a 40 or less ring gauge. I have heard that typically, Ligero is removed. Can anyone chime in with ideas? Grazie

I went ahead with the Connie 1 and the RASS. Thanks folks for your info. I tried the JL No.1 over the weekend and wasn't overly impressed with it, so that dissuaded me, for now, not to take the No.2.

Had a Siglo I yesterday at around breakfast time and a RASS for the evening. This morning it was Cohiba Secretos Maduro 5, which a friend gifted me a whole cab of 25. Delicious.

Last night whilst I was entertaining some customers for dinner at our local Havana club, I brought along my only single of RASS and Siglo 1. The Siglo 1 is fantastic little smoke, but for the price of a box, I could buy any of these above in a larger vitola. Then came time for me to smoke the RASS. And, I must admit, I probably had a very good stick that was in my humidor. The flavors were magnificent. Much more intense than my first foray with RASS a couple of months back. So, as I was considering expanding my Robusto range and having read so many threads in this magnificent forum, I wanted to get the opinions of my fellow brotherhood of the leaf. And man, you guys don't disappoint. And it has clearly made my decision tougher. El Presidente, I shall await for your 12:12 ! I have not had the pleasure of smoking the other 2, but I do have a Juan Lopez No.1 in my humidor, which I plan to smoke this weekend. I also do have the H. Upmann Royal Robusto Limitada in my humidor, might take it out for this weekend as well. All were single samplers I purchased a month ago that have had time to rest in my humidor.

I am quite surprised no one has mentioned Dunhill. Well, my list is quite short when it comes to NC's. 1. Oliva V Double Robustos 2. Dunhill Signed Series Robustos (other vitolas aren't nearly as good) 3. Padron 5000 series Maduro 4. Nat Shermans ( heard they are pretty good and have some in my humidor) 5. Alec Bradley Black Market Robusto (though I have encountered inconsistency)
