  1. This, a thousand times this. I think you posted this at some point last year and it seemed so obvious at the time, but I never thought about really thoroughly tasting everything you eat. I actually started doing this more often as a result and I honestly believe it makes you more in tune with your own sense of taste and smell. Something as simple as a hamburger. Where does the taste of the burger, where is the taste of the bun? I know I'll never be a super taster, but it helps to at least be able to identify what you are tasting with a reference point.

  6. I especially like Cigar Surgeon's habanos reviews. Bill Simmons podcasts and the rest of the Channel 33 stuff (especially Keepin' it 1600) Hardcore History. Dan Carlin is very entertaining. Local sports radio podcasts (Toucher and Rich, Felger and Mazz) Soccer pods (Men in Blazers, Football Weekly with James Richardson, BBC Five Live Football and F1, Total Soccer Show) Stogie Geeks, Cigar Federation, Half Ashed Radio Tim Goodman's TV Talk Machine
  7. It's not great, sadly. You're options are now severely limited now that Cigar Masters and Churchill's have closed. Stanza in the North End, which is fine with a poor selection but decent booze. You're better off bringing you're own stick and paying the cutting fee. Koullshi in Charlestown is a really nice ******/cigar bar with a pretty good selection. Nice environment but it's a little more difficult to get to from Copley. Aside from that, LJ Peretti right next to the Four Seasons and the Common is a pretty good cigar shop.
  8. I'm thrilled Leicester won, this is no fluke. I think the true moral of the story is championship teams are trend setters and find value where others don't. In modern football, most teams value short quick passing, high pressing and possession. What Leicester have done is find value in players that don't play that system and play a direct game with speed and counterattack. They take advantage of what their players do best. In short: they zigged while everyone else is zagging. They've become what Chelsea were 5 years ago.
  9. I couldn't agree more. IMHO, what's driving the idea of the 6x60 is the idea of perceived value. The people who buy them aren't concerned about taste or burn so much as they are hooked on the idea of "look at all this tobacco I get for $8!". They're may be some singles purchased at $20, cuban or not, but I would assume that what drives the industry is box purchases, no? I really hope this doesn't come off as condescending (although it probably will) but I just don't think that smoker will "get" cc. I'm hoping that at least drives production in to the sub 52RG range, although I'm realistic and realize it won't drive it down to sub 48RG either.
  10. WHOA WHOA, ERDM Choix Supremes discontinued in 2015??
  11. Can you imagine all the fun if RBR, Ferrari, Merc and McLaren all have race winning quality cars? One can dream..... Oh and if Illien gets the Renault right....
