  1. Someone told me you’ve been training for the Special Olympics. Pole Vault - that’s what I’ve been hearing. Any truth to this?

  2. Saw the man back in March at Philly. Amazing! Fellow fan said that he's been following bruce for the last 20+ years and this was the best concert/tour he has seen to date. Just released additional dates here back in the states and is coming to Hershey, PA in May! To see him once this year.... Incredible! But twice! Truly Unbelievable!!! Just wondering Ken, did he do a tribute to Clarence during Tenth Avenue Freeze Out? That brought the house down!
  3. Hello and welcome from a fellow midstater myself.... Little ole' Tower City, would love to meet up for a smoke sometime.... You've come to the right place, enjoy your stay here!
  4. Congrats I too passed the exam earlier this year.... Now only to land a job If you don't mind me asking, did you use a study program in your endeavor? I was a Yaeger/Wiley guy myself
  5. Glad to hear from our east coast brothers and sisters that they survived the storm. Thoughts and prayers are with those less fortunate Taking a half day tomorrow to go and inspect our ocean city, nj residence. Some of the pictures I've seen of the damage along the coast are unbelievable!
  6. Thanks to El Pres, Sven , Smithy, Di and the rest of the gang for putting on such great sales I've acquired quite a collection these past few weeks! As for Smithy and the haircut, well.... Its better than Ken's some days Again, thanks to everyone.... I think I'll crack open my Mag 46's and Macallan 12 tonight and celebrate
  7. Here's a post from their website: About the Concert Each year, Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews headline a Farm Aid concert to bring together a wide variety of musicians, farmers and fans for one mission: keeping family farmers on their land. Farm Aid is the longest running benefit concert series in America, raising more than $39 million to help family farmers thrive all over the country while inspiring millions of people to learn about the Good Food movement. Here's the Lineup so far.... Farm Aid 2012 on September 22 at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania will feature: Willie Nelson John Mellencamp Neil Young Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds Kenny Chesney Jack Johnson ALO Pegi Young & The Survivors Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real Kenny Chesney was just added a few days ago and I'm not sure I dig it. He seems to be outta his element here
  8. Too many to mention, but some of my favorites. Here we go.... Bruce Springsteen- The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle **Not much Bruce love but this album will change your mind** as well as Born to Run Neil Young- Every album but I guess WELD, Harvest and Freedom are my favorites **Shameless plug but check out the Farm Aid 2012 Thread** Van Morrison- Astral Weeks, AMAZING
  9. Congratulations David to you and your family! Here's to many more wonderful years to come

    Cat Litter?

Thank you for all your opinions. The kitty litter I purchased is unscented. I have since purchased the heartfelt beads as well and have decided to try both. It is not about the cheap method versus the more expensive method, I just wanted some opinions on the kitty litter. I've seen posts with references to successful attempts with both and wanted first hand opinions. I have two humidors, one 100 ct. and another 300 ct. and I will experiment with both methods and decide for myself which works best for me. Colt, my units are not temperature controlled either so maybe one will perform superior to the other. I will hopefully repost my experience within the next few weeks. Again thank you to everyone who expressed and opinion, no hard feelings Jason, while searching I have come across that puff article. That is what lead me to the kitty litter route. Thank you

    Cat Litter?

I know there has been opinions on both methods. Cat Litter vs. Heartfelt Beads, but at the much lower price I decided to give the cat litter a go. I have a few questions for my more knowledgable brothers and sisters. Specifically, those who have tried the cat litter approach. 1) I see most posts refer to ExquisiCat, but my local pet shop has this brand... http://www.petco.com/product/110192/Petco-Cat-Litter-Deodorizer.aspx Is this brand comparable? 2) Is there a need to moisten the litter first, like the heartfelt beads? Or may you simply put the litter in and wait. I have seen mentions of discovering the correct amount of litter before you see the desired effects but I wasn't sure if you must moisten the litter first? Thank you in advance!
  13. It is a shame, I wished I could have seen the big guy perform... But his nephew Jake Clemons is touring with the E Street Band for this tour. I've only heard of Clarence's performance to end their shows, never witnessed for myself but have heard that it was nothing short of magical! RIP Clarence, you will be missed As for El Pres, we may have a spare ticket for Ken He need only supply the CC's
  14. I have gotten tickets to go and see Bruce Springsteen play at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA Thursday, March 29 That is also the weekend of the AC Beerfestival in Atlantic City, NJ. Any members plan on attending either the concert or the festival? I plan on going to both. I have been to the beer festival last year and had a blast, but for the concert, I'm not sure what to expect. He is promoting his new album and I'm afraid he may focus his set list from this album. I guess I shouldn't complain, for I haven't heard it yet.... I went to see Neil Young a couple years back, when he released "Silver and Gold" and was let down by his choice of songs What about for our European brothers, any plans to see the Boss? On his homepage it shows that he has more dates scheduled for in Europe than for the U.S. P.S. If he plays anything from "The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle" (specifically, Rosalita) I may storm the stage and try singing along!!!! lol
