  1. Aged RG perlas are a tremendous value in my opinion if you can keep your hands off of them for a while. Can't go wrong with either though.
  2. First cigar since the birth of my second child so I guess you can call it a celebration smoke! 1st third: Fairly tight draw to start. Some spicy, woody, cedar right off the bat which settles into a more savory woodyness. Medium body. 2nd third: Draw opened up some. Deeper, burnt sugar raisins and hints of dark chocolate. Slight spiciness. Medium full. Great aroma coming from the smoke. Last third: Char, dark chocolate, black licorice. Very aromatic with hints of baking spices, burnt cherries. Still medium to full. Good smoke, decent flavor transitions for a smaller cigar. Overall rating 89/100. Beer: 2018 Bourbon County Vanilla Stout - Big vanilla aroma. Flavors of, you guessed it, vanilla but not as overpowering as when fresh. Dark roasty chocolate malts and Bourbon and oak from the barrel. Just the right amount of sweetness to balance the 14.9% abv. Amazing beer especially paired with this cigar!
  3. Thanks for the review! Was tempting to pick some of these up but will probably stick with reg production stuff.
  4. Actually doesn't fit the CRW criteria but oh well! [emoji23] Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  5. Cold draw is hay, cedar, and lemon grass. 1st: Some peppery spice, black coffee, woody, slight twang. Pleasant aroma, citrusy and woody. 2nd: Now some coffee and slight cream, sweet and spicy cedar wood with some citrusy notes. Aroma is sweeter. Final 3rd: Similar spicy cedar, burnt toffee and charred tobacco. These pack a lot of flavor and punch for a smaller smoke. Got pretty hot towards the end. I think dry boxing would have helped. I'd rate an 87. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  6. Loved the simplicity of the old labels and packaging also miss the price point...
  7. First go with the new cast iron skillet with some NY Strips! Came out pretty good but more well than I prefer, need to get it hotter next time to get a good sear while keeping the inside rare. Look who thought they were for her... She got a piece!
