  1. Just wrapped up closing on my new build. Decided to dig deep for one I hadn’t had in awhile. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for all the replies guys. I have offered to got to mediation and split all assests like sell of house, 401k, IRA's, Bank. Even pay off the car that she uses and sign title over to her (it is in my name only). All I want are cigars and a few personal items that I had prior to her. I do like the idea of - if she wants half of cigars then I want half of purses. That would stop her.
  3. So I have started divorce proceedings with my wife. Now I have some what of a cigar collection. Roughly around 2000 cigars. I will be moving to another state for a job before the divorce decree. She did not want to move and I have been the sole bread winner for 5 years. She is saying I can not take them. So I wanted to ask anyone that has gone trough something like this what they have found to be the case. FYI she does not smoke cigars. I understand that any reply does not constitute legal advice.
  4. Solo operator or started a business with employees. Helped start and run family owned business. They still own the business (couple of car washes and oil change places) have about 50 employees. First let us know what you do and how long you have been doing it for. Worked in family business for 12yrs. I left 20 yrs ago. Went back into what I enjoy IT. Would you , have you or could you go back as an employee? Are you now fundamentally unemployable So.. I did go back into corporate life. I enjoy it. Less stress good benefits. No more family fights on how to run things. The good the bad and the ugly of being self employed. Again as a sole operator or as a owner/GM of an enterprise with employees. The good on family business.. When we were not fighting it was fun. The bad everyone had their opinion and wanted to do things there way. Customer was not always right even though they thought so. You never had a day off. Finally.....do you find a cigar an important part of your mental makeup? Do they play a role? I smoke one cigar everyday, at the end of the day. It helps me unwind, I use the time to not think about anything but the cigar.
  5. If you are wanting to try some local cigars hit up cigarfactoryneworleans.com. They have IMO some great cigars.

  9. Nice Review Akela3rd. The cigar looks awesome. Bolivar's are a staple in my line up. If I hadn't already lit up a Party Short I would be going for a BPC right now:)
  10. Aardwolf, Have been thinking about getting a couple boxes for winter smokes. Let me know your thoughts on these.
  11. Well if you saw my recent 24:24 orders you would know Party shorts are my daily go to. After that it has ben JL#2 or BPC.
  12. If you don't see any mold on the foot after cleaning that is a good sign it did not go deep. Definitely keep them separate from the rest of your smokes. Put them in a ziplock or new cooler for few weeks. Keep an eye on the Humidity and temp. After a few weeks of no mold growth try one and see how it smokes, looks, for taste. Keep us up to date. and good luck.
  13. I am sorry brother. It does not look good. If it is on the foot you just do not know how far it goes into the cigar. You can try to clean the ones that do not have any mold on the foot. But those I would not smoke. Maybe someone has some better advice? I hope you can save most. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
