  1. During the summer months, I maybe light one up every other week. During winter more like one to two a month. I have an 18 month old daughter and son on the way, so there is not a lot of free time during my day lol.
  2. Last bit of Angel's Envy. Thinking about picking up a bottle of Jefferson's Ocean next. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm a big fan of Buffalo Trace as well, especially at around $25. Seems a lot of people are recommending E. H. Taylor and Angel's Envy, and I am right there with them. Both are great. I've also had a few glasses of Widow Jane and really enjoyed it.
  4. Some local beat reports love to crush Griffin. The media in general is pretty tough and often negative in DC. As for the game, I liked what I saw out of Griffin for the most part - seemed to go through his progressions (at least from what I can tell from watching on TV), got the ball out quick, seemed more decisive. I also liked what I saw from the right side of the offensive line (Schreff/Moses), new CB Chris Culliver, Ryan Grant, and really liked what I saw from rookie RB Matt Jones. Cousins looked good, but I still don't think he should start. Also of note - Andre Roberts has no business returning punts. With all that said, @NYCgarman has it right - pre-season doesn't really mean much. The Niles Paul injury looked brutal; one of those injuries I don't like to watch on replay. I feel bad for the man, apparently while on the ground he told Darrel Young "DY this was supposed to be my year man...".
  5. Clarksburg, MD USA. Spent a couple years in Arlington, VA before moving back to MD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Take this with a grain of salt, as I'm still new to the bourbon world (and all whiskey for that matter). I really liked it. It's more on the spicy side than the sweet, but still has some nice carmel notes. I don't know the proper term for this (body maybe?), but this had a thicker feel to it that would coat your mouth, as opposed to some thinner feeling bourbons. I'm still leaning towards Buffalo Trace as my go to bourbon, but I'm definitely enjoying this bottle and would get it again.
  7. Just recently got into Bourbon. Picked up a new bottle over the weekend: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome to hear, brother. One of my concerns about jumping into the CC world was getting smokes and needing to sit on them for years before they were ready. While I'll definitely bury some and let them age, I wanted something I could smoke now and still enjoy as well. With this news, I'll probably light one of these up this weekend! 9. Very good to hear! I'm trying to let them rest, but may need to light just one up soon. I'm not sure I have the willpower to resist just trying one lol.
  10. My first CC purchase - RA Superiores and PSD4. Still very new to the CC world so not familier with the reputations of these box codes.
  11. Carla - my French Bulldog Boston Terrier mix
  12. Hey Frank. I'm just down 270 in Clarksburg. I'll try to make it to the herf is possible, but my wife's birthday is that week so she may want to celebrate that Saturday. I'm sure we could all imagine what would happen if I said "just do your own thing" lol.
  13. New guy from MD here. My name is James, and I've been smoking cigars (very) casually for the last 11 year, but it just really became a passion over the past 8 monthes or so. A little more about me - I'm 29, married, have a 7 1/2 month old daughter (whose birth, in a roundabout way, lead me to where I am today in cigar smoking lol), and a 4 year old French Bulldog - Boston Terrier mix. Some of my favorites sticks are the Dirty Rat, Las Calaveras, and RoMa Craft Aquitane Mode 5. I've just recently dipped my toes in to the CC world and made my first box purchases - Box of 10 PSD4 and RA Superiores. See you guys around.
