  1. Coffee is my preferred pairing. But coffee normally doesn’t work as well with my cigar schedule. Cigars for me almost always happen in the afternoon/evening. And by that time I’ve either already had 3+ cups of coffee during the day or it’s later than I prefer to drink coffee. So bourbon normally ends up being the pairing.
  2. Drop Cigar Club is the first party vendor. May be some third party vendors around the country as well. But I've always purchased direct. The vitolas tend to come and go. I'll shoot the website over.
  3. As far as hotels, the Oceana in Santa Monica, CA is pretty incredible. Quiet, nice view, with some top tier service. Really enjoyed our stay. Also the Post Oak Hotel in Houston is wonderful. Classy with some more incredible service. Front desk, bellhop, restaurants all treated us like kings.
  4. I didn't actually eve realize that there was a maduro version of any of the vitolas. Looks that this one is a LE that I hadn't seen before. I've only had the Robusto and Petit Corona naturals. I'd say that the two that I've had have been solidly medium bodied. But again, haven't ever come across the maduros.
  5. I really enjoy most stuff that Kyle does. Warped and Padron have been top of my New World rankings for years. And Bits of Havana goes right along with that. Very enjoyable makes IMO. I still need to snag some of the Gellis Series smokes.
  6. This was my first Mille Fleur. Wow. Loved it from start to finish. Smooth. Buttery. Toasty. Perfect draw. Can’t wait to see how these age. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Pasta from one of my favorite spots at the moment in Houston. Tiny Champions. Kabocha squash sauce, brown butter pepitas, shaved comte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If they are going to go all in on tech, the tech could at least be better. Out of all of the mediocre food store apps that I use, McDonald's is far and away the worst. Just brutal to use.
  9. That is unbelievable. Lol. I don't think I'd ever be able to stop tinkering and organizing with that much space.
  10. I just had a 2014 and a 2015 last week. Smoking really nicely.
  11. What I believe is a 2013 Upmann Half Corona. (Lost the box a long time ago). And a pour over coffee with some beans from a Houston roaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I always tell my wife that I love the "hunt" almost more than my hobbies. I've jumped hobbies a lot. From sneakers, Pokemon cards, whiskey, tequila, cigars, BBQ pits. But I just love chasing stuff for some reason. I'm finally starting to slow that down a bit and just try to enjoy the stuff that I've accumulated. Cigars have been the longest running hobby at this point though. I always seem to come back to that one.
  13. Warped Bits of Havana and some Rare Breed Kentucky Spirit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. New guy here. Just getting fully into the world of Habanos. I have been a mostly NC smoker for about a year and a half with the occasional CC mixed in. The more that I smoke Cubans, the more that I realize that the flavors that I am getting are exactly what I want in a cigar. It is just perfect for my palette and I feel that overall, Cubans just seem to be more my style and more my profile. So I join you so that I can vastly expand my knowledge as well as my collection. Hopefully without hurting my wallet too terribly bad! Ha! Cheers!
