  1. Also check out El Gato Gordo in Puerto Vallarta. It's just a few blocks away from the LCDH.
  2. LA here as well! Welcome to the forum.
  3. I wouldn't recommend the 5ct cigar caddy, at least not as they currently are. I bought/returned 3 last year that didn't seal all the way on the corners. I also have a 15ct that works fine, so I'm not sure why the smaller ones seem to have an issue.
  4. Perfectly cooked medium-rare bone in rib eye 2007 Pegau Capo CDP Cohiba siglo vi gran reserva
  5. Have wondered about this myself, particularly if the tobacco is fermented in either case.
  6. Bulleit seems to be polarizing, but is one of my favorites as someone who only started getting into bourbon over the last year. The orange label is regular bourbon and slightly sweeter than the green label rye, so coming from rum you might find it an easier transition.
  7. Actually just went through this too. Didn't think of washing the foam though, I've just been keeping it in an old humi wrapped in cedar, but that hasn't done much in the past month or so. Will give it a shot
  8. Ive been a collector (read: hoarder) since I was a kid. Everything from baseball cards, coins, vinyl records..hell, cigars!...the list goes on and on. At some point I convinced myself they're investments to justify the amount of time and money I've spent on them, but when time comes to cash out I often find myself too emotionally attached haha
  9. I'm in marketing consulting and one of these two channels was actually a big project of ours when they were first launching which has now become a classical case study. While it's very obvious that channels have political agendas, these are ENTIRELY based on the market - where there's potential, where there are unmet demands, and - what it all comes down to - which positioning will get them the most viewers. It's hard for us to take that step back and detach the political ideologies of the channels from the people hosting/running them, but the only loyalty/driving force here is the almighty dollar. If overnight the vast majority of Americans suddenly became liberals, Fox's programming would switch tones just as quickly.
  10. For Saving Mr. Banks Tom Hanks couldn't be shown smoking and inhaling a cigarette (despite Walt Disney's chain smoking in real life) because even showing it in a single scene would have meant an R rating. first few seconds of the video are a bonus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI8UG02PuH0
