  1. My father-in-law that smokes 3-5 cigars a day, smokes the largest, longest cigar he can find for under $3 and when I gift him a LUB 14 Monte No.2 he says it's a tad dry. Or my wifes whole family save her oldest sister for that matter. And I agree that people think that cigars are not worth any money or expect them from me since I have a stockpile. What are you giving ME? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. When it's cold here in Wisconsin, USA I used to just smoke with the windows cracked and when done I'd run a Csonka Ozone Generator. It was fighting a smell with a smell. The smoke WOULD be gone after running the Csonka ALL NIGHT LONG, but you'd have to hold your breath, walk into my man cave and shut off the Csonka and then run out while you still had breath left. The smell of OZONE is overpowering and it's bad for your lungs (I've read) so I just let that dissolve all day long and by night time there would be no smell of cigars only a faint ozone/clean-ish feeling. NOW I use mainly a Blueair 403 while I smoke and with it on full blast it keeps the smoke out of the air. It still gets smoky, but it's SO much better. I just leave the blueair on overnight and the next morning the smell is so faint that I don't run the ozone. If I'm having company in the room that aren't smokers I run the ozone while the bluair is on and that's a 1-2 combo that works wonders! I bought the Cosnka about 7 years ago and the Bluair this year so it's spread out, but retail it's an expensive combo but I like the fact I can have minimal smell or NO smell if I work at it
  3. It was a Montecristo No. 2 from the Prez. Now I've had a box or two from grey market vendors and knew the cigar had some strong points, but I got the torpedo sampler from a 24:24 and had an LUB 14 No. 2 at a bachelor party... Holy sh*t that's when I began to look at codes and dates and pay attention. Beautiful, to say the least Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  4. Wife's Christmas present was tickets to Kenny Chesney at our local baseball stadium. Few couples all going. Parking lot opens at 3pm for tailgating and cigars and show begins around 7pm. Then Sunday is watching the U.S. Open with the wife.
  5. Ummmmm, if you look at the chair pictures on the link provided they lit a D4 backwards. This AFICIONADO chair tells you to light the head of your cigar!
  6. Sorry to hear this. Condolences to family and friends.
  7. I would PAY ATTENTION! I found FoH years ago and I even signed up for the forum and the Czar emails, but all i ever did was wonder why this guy was sending semi-personal sounding emails and calling out some Di person. So I just would delete those emails and ordered from gray market vendors. Then when I finally realized that the Czar/FoH was the real deal it said I already had a username and password but I forgot I had signed up! So many wasted years! As for the humidor, if I had paid attention I would have used OLH a TON more since I lived in a 2nd floor duplex with no A/C and had a few beetle outbreaks while trying to keep my NCs cool. Now that I have a stable environment I would have forgone all the smaller humidors, even the ones I have now and just bought a stand up freezer. Big as they come. I found that my old mini-fridge from college, once cleaned and prepped, has an almost air-tight seal and holds humidity to a "T" in my basement. I have a 150qt cooler as well that needs to be shut in just the right way to hold humidity at all. I've always bought beads and will never stop that, but need just ONE BIG stand up freezer that will remain unplugged in my nice cool basement.
  8. Does the change stop emails for the *****US password protected forum? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  11. I love this feeling! I also am scared of this feeling when I opened a box of H Upmann Connie A's and the first one was like this.... I'm scared to smoke the rest of the box as #2 might not be as good! (Or I'm an idiot and I need to smoke them as fast as I can so they don't change!)
  12. Putting down one of my best friends old buddy. So we had a PSP Upmann #2 with him. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
