  1. When speaking to countrymen regarding Cuban cigars vs. others I refer to the others as domestic cigars, meaning what is available domestically. I am getting less and less concerned over who get offended. One cannot even keep one’s opinion to one’s self without offending someone.
  2. This is strange! Out of the blue last week I was talking to a couple of younger guys about getting something they wanted (they work for me at my project). Resurrected that old OJ joke. “What two things does OJ have that every man wants?” They looked at me a little strange… “The Heisman trophy and a dead ex-wife…” Whose OJ one replied? My assistant, she’s 52, starts laughing as she walks by me and says …. "Oh Raaaay! … or a white Bronco and a get outta jail free card!" 🤔
  3. Panamaras are known for some big hits in depreciation. I think a used one is a good choice. I drove a Taycan for a short while and disliked almost everything except the looks. What was great for me, is if I was working without an office, I could sit in it all day with the AC on and not think twice about it!🐷 The damn door pillar was so close to the seat I could hardly get my fat ass out of the car. The dislike was instant. I did not have it long enough to learn to like it. My 2 cts
  4. … show them a ‘coyote’ concert bracelet and an old set of tennies, ask them which way to the US and you can do anything you want… That holds for the US too, by the way!🤪
  5. Are the cigars acclimated? Then why wait for some bloke's opinion when you can form one yourself? There are reasons not to open a box of cigars. I thought about giving you a few of mine but instead I will leave you this. Today someone else is deciding to open many cigars MRN might have thought not to open yet. Who are you keeping those cigars for anyway?
  6. …. Not easily influenced myself. If I don’t have the time to smoke a cigar, why would I watch some other bloke smoke one? I enjoy video reviewing cigars but don’t have the time for it. It’s done for my enjoyment and to amuse others. Not to influence them. I find the term and concept of influencer as revolting. Me, I turn tv commercials off. Some people get on their computers and watch them intentionally. Life wasted.
  7. Whichever’s easiest to cut down the middle and share with another person who enjoys thin ring cigars! Generous offer though.🐷
  8. Every cigar made in Cuba is hit or miss! Nothing new here. As a Lanceros fan, sometimes they are a bit too mild for me (the miss). Medium, with plenty of character is what makes them a hit for me.
  9. … the climate crisis!!! Nuff said! At 17 I owned a ‘68 SS Chevelle, 396 cu in., about 400 hp, 4 speed Muncie M22 manual trans. Trans meant something far different from today. No TV on the dash. Not distracted driving, unless Susie was my copilot… She asked to drive it once. She could not push the clutch pedal to the floor. The Lord likely saved both our lives that day. A stop sign on a hill. It separated the cows from the bulls. Dating apps., texted breakups, AI…. Give me back my Chevelle.
  10. Might I remind the esteemed man from Queensland. The term fruit, is considered derogatory to some…🤪
  11. Three people are starving to death on an island. They choose the democratic process to decide how they are going to work out their next meal. Two vote to eat the third. Wallah! Democracy in action!!
  12. Aromatic cedar is not cedar at all but a juniper. It is considered mildly toxic and does not belong with cigars. Mahogany is a great wood for cigar storage as well if you are into wood and cigar storage…I would prefer to work with mahogany than Spanish cedar myself but I don’t do much woodworking anymore. Controlled humidors work better with non-hygroscopic materials unless yo need the hygroscopicity to support your humidity control.
