  1. god what i'd give to get my hands on some Winnies or even some 898s. Cant seem to get my hands on any for love nor money!
  2. Hi folks The wife and I are considering Cuba this year for our summer hols with our 4 year old daughter Mia. Can anyone point me to a good thread with recommendations for time of year to go, hotels, must see/do things. I'm sure there are tons of good threads on his already. Not sure I'll be able to sell her on staying in Vuelta Abajo ? A beach is probably a must for Mia. Happy to go all inclusive if it makes sense but open to all suggestions Cheers I advance Dan
  3. Ooh I like this game. some of my faves. Ridicule is the only weapon that can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them - Jefferson Hitchen's razor - What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible - Lawrence
  4. Please spare a thought for us in the UK. It breaks my heart waking up every morning to find 90% sold out. I've got a three year old daughter so there is fat chance I'm staying up until 2am to take part. Spread the love brothers
  5. Sir Winnie all the way. In fact I may join you
  6. Picked one up from a B and M in London. Smoked it the other night. The flavours were great, classic bolivar, but I was unlucky and had a ridiculously tight draw. It was so tight that the smoke volume was negligible and I really couldn't enjoy it fully. A shame really because I could tell it had real potential to be a great smoke. Guess I'll have to try another one
  7. yeah that's what i figured but ive got one red and one black for two boxes of HQ so i was wondering what it's all about. they're both absolutely perfect quality so I'm intrigued as to what kind of secret code this is is there an initiation before i am allowed into the dark secrets of warehouse selection or (and this is more likely to be frank) is it just whatever bloody colour is to hand at any given moment and they mean nothing other than "this box has been ordered"
  8. got a couple of boxes from our good hosts here. look and smell incredible. cant wait to get home tonight and devour them. 50 cab shorts and some lovely 898s. just wondered if there was a legend for the coloured round stickers on the box? i think i recall someone saying the different colours don't mean anything but then couldn't find the post. ???
  9. Rob...if you're happy to keep doing it and it isn't too burdensome (you work to live not live to work my friend) then dear God please keep it up. I don't buy anywhere else and as has already been mentioned it's because I know that PSP means PSP! It is indeed what sets you guys apart and i won't go anywhere else while i know I can rely on you and the team's judgement!
  10. thanks everyone. i'm definitely intrigued by the Lascar. i'll check it out - i like the idea of continuous monitoring. i'm UK based so we're most familiar with cold grey weather (hence no air con) but this summer has been scorching and I'm sure the RH has been fluctuating like mad! cheers
  11. please feel free to direct me to a previous thread... …i've got a few humidors on the go. one is a converted wine cooler and is large enough that I've put a Cigar Oasis XL in there but the others are just desktop humis. i'd like to put a couple of extra hygrometers in the wine cooler humi to check for variation top to bottom. what have you found to be the best. I've got a couple of Xikar and a couple of others but just curious if there's a fan favourite for consistent accuracy. cheers D
  12. So sorry to hear this my friend. Much love goes out to you all!
