  1. I've had a couple of boxes of Connie A through this year with UTE MAR 16 box codes. But not a single sniff of the Sir Winston. :-(
  2. I realise that the Sir Winston is supposed to be current production...... but where on Earth is it????
  3. Boli PC - close enough to $100 and more than worth it. Just as good rott as as aged imho
  4. Aristos are awesome. As are the Supers. I haven't tried the Habaneros yet, so can't comment. The Mf's are excellent too.
  5. These sticks got me thinking - especially in light of recent discussions regarding brand profile, box codes and so on. http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=87&type=2〈=en So five robustos, two of which are not normal production robustos. These boxes have a box code - but does that mean that was the factory they were boxed in, after they'd been made elsewhere? Or does that mean they were all made and boxed in the same factory? Does it make a mockery of box code hunting? Or brand profiles? Just seems very odd. My taste buds are inept, so there'd be no point me doing a blind tasting. But it would be interesting if someone were to do it - Would they be able to tell any significant differences between these sticks? If so, would the sticks themselves match the brand profiles?
  6. Decided to go cheap first - so went with Mille Fleurs (thanks @smallclub ) and the aristocrats. Someone mentioned the aristocrats were old school partagas flavour, which I thought might be worth a punt.
  7. I like them - well, the ones I've smoked anyway. And I'd like to get some more, but don't know what to get. So far I have had: Lusitania = Awesome P2 = Awesome Culebras = Very good D2 = Awesome 3 Party Shorts = Utter turdy dogshite Although the lusitania was my favourite, there's not much point as they're too big a smoke for me and the time I have available. Would get the P2, although to a degree, the same applies. Which leaves me with the D4. So my question is - aside from the D4 - What else in their range has a similar taste profile and would take up to as long as the D4 to smoke? Or maybe I should look at some of the smaller RGs they do?
  8. I've been lucky so far then. Long may it continue!
  9. It seems we are from two nations divided by a common language. First part: "Like you said though - aged for three MORE years - so they've already been aged." You wrote three MORE years - thus from what you had written, in order for something to be aged for three more years, it must have already been aged to a degree. From what you have just written though it seems that I misunderstood you. Second part: The point I was making was that NCs aren't ROTT. I didn't make myself clear - Non Cubans by the time they get to retailers are not right off the truck - they have been aged. The two sentences are not contradictory at all. I just don't make sense some times apparently. :-D On another matter - if some NCs are sent to retailers the exact same way that cubans are, how come they don't have a sick period like cubans do?

  11. Afaik, one pretty much never gets to smoke NCs ROTT - as they are always aged before they get to retailers - that's why there's no sick period for NCs
