  1. Aromatic cedar is not cedar at all but a juniper. It is considered mildly toxic and does not belong with cigars. Mahogany is a great wood for cigar storage as well if you are into wood and cigar storage…I would prefer to work with mahogany than Spanish cedar myself but I don’t do much woodworking anymore. Controlled humidors work better with non-hygroscopic materials unless yo need the hygroscopicity to support your humidity control.
  2. … my body uses the plastic to rebuild the cartilage of my steel joints! I take Nanoplastic Fantastic supplements everyday. They advertise it on Fox. Check it out!
  3. … as long as you got it from a friend that knows a roller that stole it, you are okay!👌
  4. … this is what you get when governments label minimum wage as a living wage and legislate pay for more than the labor skill is worth. Governor Gavin Newsom today signed legislation increasing the minimum wage for fast-food employees to $20 per hour, beginning April 1, 2024 …. And this is old news! Some idiot in my state tried to buy her way into a senate seat by suggesting minimum wage should be set at $50 USD.
  5. Many of the best have already been mentioned. Here are a few lesser known that I did not see. Some may seem a bit cheesy, or chickish, but entertaining none the less. If not considered a classic now, it should be. The Highwaymen. Not vintage. Hobson’s Choice Across the Pacific The Day the Earth Stood Still The Haunting The Palm Beach Story and It Happened One Night…. One more light hearted number, A Touch of Larceny. One of my favorites. Vera Miles is stunning in this movie across from James Mason at his best…
  6. I’ll say it then. Since I am being factchecked, I have to wonder how our freedoms to experience and hurt ourselves organically stacks up to today’s fears, phobias, medications and suicide rates and violence in youths. Hell I might be checking my own ‘gender’ in today’s world of weirdness. I am glad my only choice was not to undress virtual creatures, hermaphrodite cat-people and the like and I got to experience the beach, a few blankets and a rambunctious redhead, and an occasional slap on the cheek. I would like to see one of the hotshots today skate on steel wheels….🤪
  7. … it was a rhetorical comment mate indicating that we have bigger issues then 20 YOs smoking cigars. Your slip is showing, by the way…. -lol
  8. Next was Pinesol… fill the room with cleaning smoke and wipe it all down afterwards… -lol
  9. … you can change your sex at 9 but cannot buy tobacco. All you need for an asylum is a room and right sort to fill it with.
  10. I have always liked and hated the same things. I like a good cigar, priced well that provides plenty of quality smoking time for the money spent. I hate collectors and their influence on this custom. The limited availability, the luxury, the influence of age, the future value… all the concepts of the collector crowd have ruined cigar smoking for everyone but themselves. I have been saying the same things for decades and it has come to be proven true. MHO.
  11. It is all speculative and mainly collector driven bullshit… How is that for an answer? Buy what you like to smoke. Age what you have not smoked yet. Peer reviews have some validity if you know your peers and trust them. Professional opinions generally come with a motivation which includes their interests above your own. The magic is in the hands of the maker in all but storage. The highest and best use of a cigar is smoking it. Until then, your only contribution is to buy it and store it correctly or incorrectly, and that in itself is yet another man’s (my) opinion. Let’s look at this logically for just a moment. For the record I am not a believer in quantitative cigar taste decay but I will play along. Let’s start with a jug of liquid. Let’s call the amount of liquid ‘taste’ and liquid lost to evaporation time. Is it better to start with a small amount of liquid and therefore a short time before it all evaporates or a larger amount of liquid in the first place? Cheers! -Piggy
