  1. It was great having you here mate. Best of luck and see you in August!
  2. Haven't posted for a while but this one was worth posting. Fantastic RA 225 courtesy of @LordAnubis via @ChanceSchmerr. Thanks dudes!
  3. He seems to be channelling Rodney Rude but without the laughs...
  4. Damn. I'm flying out to Menorca with the family for 2 weeks on the 13th. Will be sorry to miss this
  5. Cheers boys a pleasure as usual and great to meet some new faces
  6. Agreed mate, I enjoyed mine immensely. Sadly had to leave the last third as i needed to head home but it was an excellent cigar and I am tempted to buy a box even at that price. I would probably only smoke them on high days and holidays anyway so a box of 10 will last me a good few years!
  7. Wish I'd come for dinner with you guys, the cupboard was bare when I got home. Had to make do with some cold spuds out of the fridge and a slice of bread and butter. Yum! Great to see you again Mus and Martin and to meet Rob & Chris. I had great time and got to smoke some fantastic cigars plus as usual I came home with more cigars than I left the house with! Thanks again for the generous gifts fellas
  8. Mate we let anyone in here... You know that you've already been! So sorry to hear about your sh*tty experience. That sucks. Look forward to seeing you when you hit London. Alan.
  9. With you on the Punch EL. Smoked about half a dozen from various splits and they have been outstanding but i can't bring myself to spring for a whole box. Also agree with Frank re the fundadores. My 2010s (12 count) are excellent. Not sure if I'll replace them when they are gone when I can get a cab of Epi 2 for close to the same price....
  10. I haven't but I see the reviews are glowing so I'll have to track them down. Thanks for the tip!
  11. Ken, have you read Blood River by Tim Butcher? It's great book, part travelogue, part history lesson. It's gives a real insight into the horrors that have been, and are still being visited on the Congo and it's inhabitants. It's sad that such a vast and resource rich country has been reduced to a basket case. As a fan of heart of darkness and someone who has already travelled in the Congo I would say it's a must read.. My holiday read this year was 'I am Pilgrim' by Terry Hayes. An excellent espionage thriller about a former covert agent trying to stop a biological attack on the US. I know it sounds hackneyed but it's a cracker. Very well written and I couldn't put it down.
