  1. It's a different world down here in Dixie land hiro. We just can't help ourselves! "Jist give me all the bacon and eggs you have."
  2. Brazilian picanha or Bone in Ribeye. Or both together for turf and turf. I too am a P&R fan. We should all strive to be like Ron Swanson. In fact I'm gonna change my sig in honor of the great man. "Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have"
  3. Yeah I think I'm just getting paranoid. They were very enjoyable smokes. I have 8 of the bolivar left and 3 cohiba if that tells you anything. Lol A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  4. The small piece that was on the other side was on there and came off. But I'm talking about how the sticker doesnt fold all the way over the side of the box. The sticker is just on the top. Here's another example from the Bolivar box. A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  5. I bought a box of Siglo II and Bolivar BF Cabinet late 2011 from a source I know a lot of people on FOH trust. (Not Czar but another vendor) I thought it was a little weird when I got them that the Habanos DOP sticker on the corner doesn't overlap the edge of the box. It's the same on both boxes. I didn't think much more at the time but now that I have been smoking CC's for a while I am starting to wonder about their authenticity. The cigars look great, the bands look great, they smoke ok. It's just weird to me that the sticker doesn't overlap. On all the other boxes i have purchased from this source, the sticker has overlapped. But these are the only SLB boxes that I have ever bought. Is this just an SLB thing or should I be worried? Here are some pics... Thanks for the input guys!
  6. Has anyone had any boxes with the DOP corner sticker that doesn't overlap the edges of the box? I have a box of Bolivar Belicosos Finos like that. The cigars look great just worried about the packaging. A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  7. So true. Also it's not like I asked him to get a whole box. Just a couple of sticks. Thought it was nice. I'll add them to my collection of counterfeits. A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  8. If you knew my boss you would understand why he just bought them on the beach haha I mentioned to him to look for an LCDH when he was in Cozumel but he is super scatterbrained and he didn't really pick up on what I was trying to say. I'm lucky to have gotten any cigars at all. But like I said I kinda wanted some fakes, I have enough genuine CC's already. Well you can never really have enough haha. A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  9. Asked my boss to pick me up a few cigars on his recent cruise to the Caribbean but didn't expect much. He isn't a cigar smoker and I asked him partially to see what kind of fakes he would bring back. Needless to say...He picked a couple of winners. I guess it's the thought that counts! Thanks boss! Btw, I asked where he got them and he said on the beach. Also, I cut open the big one and it was full of cut wrapper leaves and random junk. Probably would have gotten sick from smoking it. The smaller one actually looks decent. A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
  10. Using Tapatalk works great...not the same story with chrome for android. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  11. My regulars being from the US are: Oliva V Maduro Oliva O Maduro Tatuaje Reserva Noellas (So Good!) Liga Privada T52 San Lotano Habano Casa Magna Colorado Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Rocky Patel Edge Maduro Anything by My Father I enjoy these cigars very much. Don't hate on NC Cigars if you are a CC only guy. There are some excellent cigars out there if you give them a shot.
  12. Just going off past experiences when I lived in FL (High Humidity) with several coolidors. The beads helped regulate the humidity by pulling the humidity out of the air while the electric humidifier (hydra) kept it high enough. I would keep the beads dry when I put them in at first and when they filled with moisture from the hydra I would swap them out with other dry ones. My coolidors never had that great of a seal. (Cheap Coolers). So the system worked for me. It was sort of a double fault, if the hydra failed the beads would take over. Also, I never kept them closed long enough to worry about it. I was always moving cigars around.
  13. It would be possible I would think. I'm just lazy thats why I chose to weatherstrip. It creates a great seal. But if you can do it that way then by all means it would look better. Weatherstripping works great though. Post pics.
