The regular production WC was a 2010 release (tobacco could be up to three years older ?) - was a GR release considered when this cigar was planned - is it that the '09 tobacco was thought fit for a RyJ GR release - other? Signed, simply curious. One other question is what justifies a regular cigar to become a Gran Reserva? The first three GR release I can understand. I can also understand the Reserva Releases. All of them are mainstays in the portfolio. But the RyJ WC? As you stated above, it got introduced in 2010. And now a GR with Tobacco from 2009 will be introduced later in the year. I cannot imagine that they had envisioned it to be a GR when it got released back in 2010. I personally think that they got it wrong with the Churchill back in 2012. If you're going to do an RyJ GR you choose the "Churchill". (the original one, not one of the many bastard children). Oh wait, but they flubbed a GR release by making the Churchill a "Reserva" release. (and not a good one at that I hear).There are so many better choices than a RyJ WC GR. I submit.
