  1. I've seen him be wrong on a few occasions. But for the most part he does alright. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Carry a gun everyday to protect my family and loved ones. Provide for my fiancé in every way I possibly can. Can service my own vehicles in most cases. Shoot guns on a weekly basis and I am very proficient with them. Know how to hunt kill and prepare deer duck quail squirrel and a few others in addition to most fish.
  3. Just a follow up, upon lighting, I knew these things were legit. Absolutely fantastic cigar in every possible way!
  4. Unfortunately, El Presidente is right, and in my experience, 99% of the Cohibas I have smoked (while few and far between) have been on the "meh" side of things, which has almost turned me off from the brand completely.
  5. Depends on the cigar, the heavy stuff I don't inhale. Some of the lighter stuff, I tend to inhale, not because I want to, it just happens. I do enjoy french inhaling though, it does add a little bit to the smoke. So I guess I would have to vote yes here.
  6. Working at a cigar shop, we had our usual returns (lighters not sparking, cutters going dull). But over the past few months, I have noticed to see those starting to pick up, especially the lighters not sparking. A year ago, it was usually just me purging the lighter the right way, and refilling, but now, the lighters just simply wont work. I am not sure whats going on there. At least they do honor their warranty, with little to no hassle.
  7. Gonna have to vote for Davidoff (NC) and Cohiba Behikes (CC), if I pay $50 for a stick, it better be a hell of a lot better than the last BHK I had..

    I'm Baffled

Move the air around, are you sure you have the hygrometers calibrated? What method did you use? Even the salt method is +/-2 percent. Nothing is perfect. But, I'd be willing to bet the beads are spot on, your hygros are off. I just went through the same headache, three hygros that all read differently. I salt tested, and even then they were still a little off. I finally said F*** it, and let the cigar oasis do its job, everything is smoking perfectly, and the hygros are still a little off.
  9. Wine fridge with a oasis xl humidifier. Never had a problem with fluctuations. Stays very stable. Set and forget system. I plan on adding a pound of beads as well just as a little extra insurance.
  10. I use a oasis xl in my wine cooler. I am going to order a half pound of beads as well. Just to help stabilize. The oasis does a fine job but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
  11. In my wine cooler there isn't a lot of "work" to setting the temp. I have mine cranked as high as it will go (66*), and leave it at that. I know in our walk in at the shop I worked at we kept the temperature of the building around 65 but the humi always seemed to be around 66-67. You want to have a stable temp so your humidity doesn't move as much. So in my opinion yes. Try to keep a stable temp.
  12. Just started into the darker side of cigars, and this was a big help. Thank you!
  13. My fiances brother has been glued to the tv for the past week or so (since the game came out) he sleeps for about three hours, works part time, than plays. I have picked it up twice, and managed to only get sucked in for a hour or so each time. Fantastic game, just wish I had the time to really appreciate it.
  14. Fantastic pictures everyone! I wish I could make my smokes look that good.
  15. I have a 18 bottle, and since I worked at a smoke shop, I snagged quite a few thin sheets (the kind that separate rows of NC cigars), I hot glued a few to the top, bottom, and sides of my wineador. I also glued sheets to the bottom of each of the drawers I use (don't have "real" wineador drawers yet). I have a few full boxes in the bottom as well. Between all that, my humidity hasn't budged from 65% since I got it stabilized. Since you're just looking to use this one to stock boxes, I am willing to bet you'll be fine without it.
