sblevit Posted March 2, 2012 Author Share Posted March 2, 2012 Nice camers!The lighting is diffused very nicely on the first shot, you got a special setup? I shot these pics essentially in very low light (almost dark), used a flash on normal setting and then had the following camera settings in Manual mode: 1/30 shutter speed (pretty slow), F13 (pretty wide) and ISO 200. Something like that seems to work pretty well on cigars. Then boost the contrast slightly in PShop and you've got it. If you could add two flashes on the sides, it would be perfect. I was messing around with a dark and light background on these and I think the dark background is much preferable. I shot them so that the images could be easily cut out for CCW.
