2016 Habanos S.A. Releases

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been able to find a confirmed list for this year? I have seen a few on the web but nothing that indicates where the Regional Editions will be for or what the size and box counts will be for the various speculated releases. Doesn't a list usually get leaked by now?

Ok. Thanks guys. Looks like these are the same lists I found. No box counts or anything further on the Regional Edition locations. So I guess I am not missing anything. The only reason I asked was because in years previous websites like the one linked in Habana Mikes post above have given more information on the releases. And this seems to happen before The Habanos Festival. Check out the dates of the posts from previous lists from halfwheel in the links below.

The LCDH HdM perfecto will be interesting. I'm looking forward to the Party Capitols. Wouldn't it be great if it was a mareva with the Shorts blend?

I think those Edmundo Dantes will be a hot ticket item. Hoping they'll be a Mexico release like the previous Dantes.

They're really flooding the world with RA releases. Clearly, RA is becoming a very popular brand worldwide. Hopefully HSA expands the lean regular lineup at some point in the next few years. The Superiores have been a clear success--how about a sublime, duke or dobles in the regular lineup?

Anyone care to pick the RE regions?

Bolivar Byblos is Lebannon
RA Dubai is UAE (although my information, current as of October 2015, is that this is actually called the "La Palamerar")

Edmundo Dantes Conde Beliscosos - presumably Mexico

QdO Secreto Cubano - France?
RA Patagon - Argentina? Would be their first one. Andino or Brazil, maybe?

HSA's march toward 60+ RG continues! I'm thinking it's definitely less than 5 years away. How revolting...

Partagás Capitols — Mareva

This one is really surprising, when we (europeans) already have many Partagas of that size (more or less): Mille Fleur, Petit Corona Especiales, Corona Senior, Partagas de Luxe, Super Partagas, Aristocrats, which can be found everywhere, and are good sellers…

Thanks Ryan for posting the list. Not sure where you got it but by the looks of it I would have to agree with the jawbreakers comments. I was interested in the Trinidad LEs but not with a 56 ring gauge.

+1 on the Edmundo Dantes. Those sound interesting.

If the tin looks like the old Partagas Capitols tin it will sell well in duty frees and to tourists. Retailers are probably crying out for that style packaging. I think the tins of Upmann Media Corona sell well.

I thought the exact same thing, but then again aren't they resuscitating the RyJ Club Kings as a mareva as well? How many Marevas does RyJ need? This would make 5.

I am interested in what they do with the Capitols. As I said, how great would it be if it was a mareva with the identical blend to the Shorts?

If they were really thinking of us, they'd do a mareva for RA with the RASCC blend and also a SC mareva with the El Principe blend. lol3.gif Always thought both of those cigars were just a bit too short.

sounds like a dream come true. Marevas are my favourite weekdays after work smokes and i really like the blend of those two.

When are these cigars going to be available for purchase? I'm going to Cuba on Monday, any chance I get to find some of these new releases?
