  1. The "EF88", as they've called it, is just a Steyr AUG with a laundry list of modifications. The AUG itself has been in service since 1978. They didn't reinvent the wheel here, just like the US Army isnt reinventing it when choosing to continue to use the M4 and M16 which also have had quite a few modifications since the original weapons came into service. 2. The dark web is a portion of the internet that is only accessible via certain software configurations. Access to these sites usually requires a special browser, use of proxy servers, and knowledge of exactly what you're looking for and where to find it. I like the analogy that compares the internet to the ocean. Everything is connected, but the deeper you go, the darker it gets and the more difficult it is to access. What we have access to via search engines is like trolling a net along the surface. You can find essentially anything in the "dark web". From prostitutes to drugs to illegal firearms. There were rumours at one point of contract killers operating via websites in the dark web, but I've never seen this. Drugs are by far the most prolific activity in the dark web. There are numerous marketplaces where one can but their choice of narcotics, and have them shipped via FedEx/UPS(to a dead drop or UPS store post box in a fake name). It's pretty fascinating, and I couldn't help but spend weeks exploring the dark web when my buddy showed me how to access it. Even then, I saw perhaps a percentage of everything that happens there. It's also a bit alarming when you think about the sheer scope of everything on the internet and how little we actually see.
  3. LCDH Exclusives Question

If I'm not mistaken, it's 5000 boxes a year from the initial release until they are discontinued. The obvious exception being the Noellas jar. If I AM mistaken, someone will be along shortly to correct me. ;-)
  4. Like many others, all the NCs I bought before getting into CCs. Never again.
  5. Cabinet Humidor - Help with RH

I believe this is indeed the case. 49% RH in the room where the cabinet resides. I was hoping you would reply! When I came home from work this evening, I decided to check the humidity in the room where the cabinet is located. 49%. Given this, and your input, I believe I'm going to go the active humidifier route. The beads have been requiring too much maintenance this winter.
  6. Alright, so I think I've caused myself a problem. Back in November, I purchased a small cabinet humidor (end table, ~30 boxes & 100 single capacity), in my excitement to use it I believe I may have rushed the seasoning process, as I'm having a hard time keeping the RH up. Currently, it's sitting around 60%/66df with 4.5 pounds of beads and 10(!!!!) 65% boveda packs that I recently added to try and help the beads. I can elevate the RH to 65% by adding a few moist sponges, but within a couple days it will drop back down to around 60%. I'm fairly certain the issue is with the seasoning of the cabinet. Should I temporarily relocate my stock to my coolerdor and attempt to reseason the cabinet or let the cabinet slowly absorb moisture over time? I'm honestly not sure what to do.
  7. Best of 2014?

The two Super Coronas I've had so far have both been superb. I'm very tempted to ****** up as many as I can. Granted, I haven't yet had a chance to get hold of any other 2014 releases.
  8. PSP Monte 2s from the last LFTH Had to take them outside to get the proper lighting.
  9. Will do. Seriously considering firing one up tomorrow even though they were in transit for 5 days.
  10. Just pulled these out of the mailbox. Box is a bit beat up, but the sticks are just fine.
  11. Been together 4 years, married a year and a half. I've never been happier. She hates the cigars, but tolerates them for me. I can't smoke whenever I please and I can't buy every cigar under the sun, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She's everything to me. Please excuse my poor attempt at facial hair...
  12. PLPC. 74 currently. Aging one cab and smoking another. Followed by RASS at 51 Edit: Reading some of the other posts here, I'm in awe. I need to upgrade my storage....
