  1. FOH'ers Daily Smoke

I had a very cool experience yesterday in Luzern, Switzerland a Juan Lopez Seleccion no 2 lit with this nifty cigar rotator! Very kind owner that seemed passionate about cigars and amazing scenery Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Heading out on vacation so had to dig into this old H Upmann Mag 46, unsure of exact age but was purchased along with a single SLR DC from a 50cab. Been resting for almost another year since then and it was glorious! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Personally I enjoyed the transitions the Wide format brought to the table, this example had a great pack and the sweetness ebbed just after the first third and came back at the end. Haven't tried the short or petite format but if you like them I think you'll be in for an enjoyable experience Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  5. Canadian on the west coast!

Good luck with the hunt in Cuba Leo, what better way to spend some tax refund dollars than on some CC's straight from the source sans duty Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

AJ Fernandez Connecticut This is my first connecticut & I really appreciate the differences this cigar brings to the table. Subtle notes, cedar & almond. 2/3 in & I get a bit of coconut. Very relaxing cigar that keeps the palate clean & relaxed, perfect Friday cigar. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  8. Smoking on your balcony isn't a problem, I stayed at the Grand Palladium. I booked a visit to Don Lucas via email, they picked me & my wife up at our resort and there were cigars, rhum & chocolate all in one spot. They were very quick to respond so you can book via email when you arrive, to be allowed onto the resort they need your room number, so don't bother trying to reserve in advance of your check-in. Link: http://www.donlucascigars.com.do/ They have a large selection of cuban & non-cuban cigars in a rather large walk-in humidor and I picked up a Tatuaje Havana VI that had a ton of yellow on the cellophane & smoked like a dream, wish I had purchased the whole box. The beaches were flooded with fakes, i.e. Glass top Cohibas......, and airport cigars, behikes included, were sweating from the heat & humidity so I would steer clear of a purchase from either. Enjoyable Tatuaje Havana VI Artistas I picked up this aged Havana VI while in Dominican Republic and it had all the signs of a glorious cigar, so yellow it was brown cellophane, dark oily wrapper and woody aroma. These are not carried in any local B&M in Canada from what I can find so the search for a good example of a non-cuban cigar that fit my love for the partagas flavour profile and upmann under/medium strength. This cigar satisfied my curiosity and then some, it was nubbed and will be my go too for awhile as their vitola offerings for this blend fit what I would prefer to see from some cuban brands. Being a subscriber of an eccentric vlog channel dr joe show, in addition to many greats such FOH, I felt that the praise given this brand was more than just manufactured hype and I am happy I followed my instinct on the journey that led me to this cigar. Cheers from the prairies on a day that was nice enough to offer +7 degrees to enjoy this smoke to it's fullest. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Biggest disappointment of the year was the sight unseen box of Monte #2 I purchased, fortunately it was only a 10 count box but given there are actually 10 I will nominate them all as a combined failed effort. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Reports from Havana?

I had a good one that I purchased in Toronto and was perfection. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. FOH'ers Daily Beer

Big Rig Brewery' Tales From the Patch Spiced Pumpkin Porter, a tasty sweet porter if you are a Double Chocolate Stout fan tgen this is worth checking out. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Picked up this new Trinidad Topes while visiting Toronto for the first time and it just looks & smells gorgeous. It survived the trip only because it was windy as hell and LCDH there doesn't allow smoking in their shop, much to my surprise! So will contemplate bringing with me to Quebec City next weekend to try at Bar Société Cigare (really looking forward to this trip). While I couldn't smoke I was able to flip through their copy of "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars" and enjoy an espresso with my wife. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. R/H and condensation

My parents had this issue when they moved out to Vancouver Island. Their windows were always damp in the morning so a friend of theirs recommended putting some Damp Rid (Found at Walmart) in a small dish on their window sil and this product seems to work for them. While not eliminating the reason why you are experiencing condensation in the first place, if you are looking for a product that will help you out in the short term while you determine what you can correct, I would suggest you give this a try.
  15. Encourage him to steer clear of late '15 Monte 2s, just got some back and they look anemic and spotty... 2-3 years nursing bill to follow.
