  1. Monte #4 8:52 start Creamy and nutty, hint of espresso Latte is such a good combo! Spicy retro, just right on spice End of first 3rd, chocolat coming in now! 2nd 3rd, full on chocolat bar with coffee Light floral/woody taste lingers on the palate End of 2nd 3rd, spice kicks in while everything else is the same Final 3rd, chocolat is almost gone now. The spice that started coming in strong is now more of a hay flavor Amazing draw, burn was winky at the 1st to 2nd 3rd transition. Fixed itself as I slowed down my speed. End 9:38 46 min total time Siglo 2 Start 7:59 Very nice draw, typical cohiba hay and honey Pleasantly mild, light toasted tobacco Finish on the palate is a Graham cracker sweetness of honey Starting the 2nd 3rd. Everything is getting better! Little stronger spice now. Full on Graham cracker! Maintained delicious creamy Graham cracker into final 3rd. Spice is building up now End 8:59 Exactly 1 hour smoke Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  2. I just got married on June 3rd. Went through the same thing, didn't want the typical lame gifts. All seem to be made in China and just junk. I ended up getting everyone custom engraved yeti 30 oz tumblers. Was a huge hit because who doesnt want a yeti tumbler, but it allowed us to pre game and not get in trouble! 3. Ill be reviewing a monte #4 this weekend.
  4. The real question is how many cigars does my wife think i have, and how many do i actually have?
  5. Didn't think of that. Not sure how I would measure the difference the cooling unit has to work now vs when the fans are in. The room temp is 70, and the humidor stays at 65-67, so it's not really working that hard as it is. A control module may be incorporated in the future, but for now I want to see my humidity swings come down. My high/lows right now are anywhere ranging from 55 low to 72 high. 6. Just wanted to share an update with my humidor. I bought a 3 pack of thermaltake computer fans that come with a controller. There are 2 speeds, silent mode, and they can change between 256 different colors. I bought a 1.5A 120v AC to 12v DC charging cord and rewired the fan controller to that. Now I have 3 fans that I will be strategically placing inside the humidor to help stabilize the swings in humidity! Pretty cool little project! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  7. I've switched over to buying Cubans. However, I've probably only tried a dozen or so Cubans. The padron family reserve (any year) are better than any cuban I've had so far. If the Cubans i do have had some age on them, I might feel differently about that statement. Right now I'm smoking a padron family reserve #46 and like the other 4 I've smoked from the box, they are perfect! No construction issues, no draw issues, already aged to perfection before being released to the market. It's hard for me to spend money on CC's when these are 100% perfect every time, but I'm sure I'll come around eventually to being only CC, seems to be a common thing for us US GUYS... 8. I love everything they offer in the 1964, 1926, and family reserve lines. The only line I have not tried is the 80th anniversary, but I'm going to change that soon, as I hear it's the best cigar they make! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

  10. Im currently a student in building construction. I started in mechanical engineering and decided it wasnt for me about halfway through. There are several companies that want to hire me and i havent even graduated. One of these companies builds US Embassies all over the world. Im was also a marine corps veteran.
  11. I am smoking a don carlito god of fire, wondering how I can easily make more money so that i can buy everything offered in the 24:24, every day of the week! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  12. Pretty impressed with this little guy! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  13. I still need to figure the exact size out. It's probably like 4x the size of a newair. I'll try and do some more research on the unit I have. The few searches I made didn't turn up much. I'm also going to call vinotemp to see if they have any info on my exact unit. Thanks for the tips so far, I'll definitely consider a staebel. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  14. The humidifier that was included seems to be all over the place. The controls arent very accurate as far as dialing things in. I will be looking at the avallo accumonitor system, unless anyone can sell me on a different option.
  15. Ok the only options to look inside the cooling unit is the front plate or the back plate. I'll take both off later and see what it looks like inside. It's been on for a while now, temp and humidity have stabilized. I haven't seen any water collecting inside or out, but I'm on the hunt for the drain line!
