  1. Well two weekends ago my groomsmen surprised me with an awesome weekend. First a couple guys and I did a 25 mile brewery bike ride. Second my future father in law picked us up in a 14 passenger bus and we went up ti a casino. He ended up winning quite a bit of money....we did not sleep all night and arrived at slip 47 in Holland Michigan around 4:45 am. We were set to go out at 6:00 am so we had some morning brews on the dock. We went out with Jeff and his first mate Parker. We were able to bring cans on the boat with whatever we wanted. We went out on Lake Michigan for 6 hours and caught some beauties. Jeff said usually this time of year we don't get much king salmon and you never catch 3 in a row. I think we caught 5 in a row that day. Here are some pictures I wanted to share. We are turning this into an annual trip. Yes that is me reeling in the big ol fish with a Monte. It was lit for me half way through reeling the fish in. Enjoy!
