  1. I know this is been covered many many moons ago. But I wanted to see what peoples go-to's for dog walking cigars are these days. I typically keep this rotation on tap but maybe I should switch it up. My walks are typically 45-50mins daily with my Clifford sized golden retriever Vinny. 1) RG Perlas - Consistently my favorite. Good burn / Develops nicely / I don't have think to much about it. I don't feel bad that I have to sit down to enjoy it. 2) Partagas Short - Hit or miss on my walks. It's a borderline walking cigar for me. Some out of my recent cab are so good I'd rather sit down and enjoy so I don't pull from here to often. 3) El Rey Del Mundo Demi Tasse - Either too short or too harsh most of the time. I've had a mixed bag with these. When there good it's great but typically it's only a 30min affair. I'm a Choix Supreme fan and when I smoke these I just wish I had that but it's too much of a cigar for the walks. I've been thinking of adding/testing these to switch it up a little: 1) Petit Quintero - I had this once but it was so long ago I don't remember what it tasted like. I remember I liked it. 2) Le Hoyo Du Depute
  2. This is my good friend Ginger. She, like me hates the 4th of July. No we aren’t fans of English rule or colonialism. We hate the fireworks, can’t stand them. They remind me of some terrible nights were the flashes of light and loud pops were in no way indicitive of good times and friendly people. I can’t speak to what they remind her of; I have yet to decipher doggy speak. What I do know about Ginger is that she was brought to my wife from a kill shelter in North Carolina as unadoptable and ready to get the gas. They thought she was a year old because of her size. Due to her injuries and the poor condition she was in the thinking is that she was used to teach larger dogs how to chase as dog racing is/was a thing in NC. When she out lived her usefulness she was put in a garbage bag and thrown in a dumpster. After a year of love and food she doubled in size and started to come out of her shell a bit. Well we just found out from a doggie eye Dr that’s she’s actually about 4 years older then we thought. That puts her around 11. She’s a sweet old girl and her love has helped me more than I can ever put into words. Tonight we both faced our fears and comforted each other out on my back deck. Turns out one of the largest fireworks displays in my state goes off directly behind my new home, perfect right. So if anybody else has some of the same objections to fireworks I do you’re not alone and one mans trash is truly another mans treasure. Nothing is beyond being saved. The cigar is a Trini Coloniales it’s excellent. The company is much better. Ted fastkiller13
