03 SLR A from a cab. Cant remember code off hand and the rest of the cab is stored in a converted freezer in my office. This particular cigar was strong as balls compared to others in the cab. Just sm

I'd wager 90%+ of the time something is claimed as plume it is actually mold.

Most definitely not plume. Wipe those down before it spreads

maybe plume is just dust that has settled on the wrapper of the cigar. over time more dust accumulates and it becomes more visible?

In my example I have a box of HdM Prominentes. There was a time that I, like many, did pursue the collection of EL's (believe it or not). I bought several boxes, what were they 5 count boxes of the Prominenetes EL.

For the record, these are Particulares (gran corona), not Prominentes.

Picked up a Partagas Astorias (box from july 1999 - SUA EUOO) to smoke today and noticed, what I'm hoping, is plume?

I rigged the camera and took some snaps to post here. The lower pic is a100% crop from the full sized image. From what I can see, the cigar looks covered in tiny crystals?

Glue residue? Sweaty off of the warm hands that rolled this? Something precipitated from the tobacco cure? Mold?

Our story continues...potty.gif
