puromaniac
I'm pretty sure this casa site has been shared before. http://www.casaparticularcuba.org/ I doubt if they serve duck, though.

zathan
El Cocinero is an excellent trendy restaurant in Havana. They do serve duck confit but it was disapointing. They do serve very tasty meals but duck isn't one of them.
Blackham
I used a combination of AirBnb and HomeStay.com for my accomodations in my last trip to Cuba. I had more luck with HomeStay.com as it returns more search results and the hosts repond me much quicker. I think you pay a little less if you book a casa particular in the traditional way (contacting the owner directly), but AirBNB definitely saves you alot of time. uscmd310
I got hit with fraud by an airbnb.com host. And it was frustratingly difficult to get refunded by airbnb, their customer service is almost nonexistent

thecrowder
I stayed in an Airbnb last week and it worked really well! We booked a month or so in advance and sent a few e-mails back and forth with the host, who was really nice. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again for the next trip.
