SaorEire
I got a new box a Petit Coronas today, and the barcode was scratched off. The cigars themselves appear to be a little rougher and have a darker wrapper than my last batch. The box appears to be real and was sealed. It is marked MEG Mar. 16. I have attached a photo. The new suspect ones are on the right.
JohnS
There's no way I could tell , personally, just from the wrapper shade. I'd have to smoke one of each of those and then make a comparison.
TheMonk
Wrapper variation is completely normal, doesn't look anything out of the ordinary judging by that pic. As for having the barcode scratched off, sometimes that happens even with reputable sellers, so not necessarily a cause for concern in itself, as long as it is indeed a reputable seller. That said, the proof is in the pudding as they say, so take John's advice and smoke each of them, and if you've got any experience with that particular cigar you should be able to tell the difference.
mjhpercussioninc
I actually just smoked on from my buddy Rich yesterday. And the ones on the right look very similar to mine. And I know it came from a dealer whom checks all his cigars he buys. So hopefully that helps. Bellow is a photos but the lighting may throw it off. Good luck
garbandz
if you open 10 boxes you could find 10 different hues of tobacco. Relax and have a smoke.
