Corylax18
"Peanut" Some people actually think they make the cigar taste better. There used to be a brand (french I think) that used only wrappers with marks like this. I've been told its where a worker pinched the leaf too hard during picking, and hanging in the barn. The only Cuban brand created on specifications of a French enginee/blender is Quai d'Orsay, and I guarantee that the usual light claro wrapper of the marca has nothing to do with water spots…

Last time I checked, several years ago, there were 3 premium french cigar brands, one made with cuban tobacco (Navarre), one with tobacco from several terroirs (Edito) and one with tobacco from Nicaragua (Pitbull). All had very dark wrappers. I don't even mention machine made french cigars as I believe they no longer exist; they were made with dark tobacco and dark wrappers (Sumatra as best). Anyway the idea of a wrapper covered with water spots doesn't make sense to me.

Hi all, Sorry Frank, but " NAVARRE " Is not made up of any Cuban Tobacco but ALL French Tobacco grown In the Southwest part of France for having visited them a few years back. They have a Cuban grower from Pinar del Rio,Cuba but that Is all. All of their tobacoo Is grown In France and rolled by French women Under the control of a Cuban woman. Just look It up bro.If you're Interested. amicalement, Guy
