BPC review: Ode to the 40s & 42s Week

Haven't had this particular vitola in ages, maybe never. If I did then I don't remember a thing about it. Possibly bought a five pack at some time...I've definitely never bought a box before, & I just recently received this absolutely gorgeous box from our host & favorite team.

I could no longer contain myself & fired this baby up 17 days after receiving it.

 

Gorgeous medium dark wrappers with an oily sheen

 

Sweet cake and a little barnyard aromas on the cold.

Construction spot on, draw slightly firm - just the way I like it.

 

Toasty tobacco goodness, rich & creamy

Leather, dark cocoa , medium espresso, slight cedar

Taste was just wonderful from the start, & it never let up.

Medium to medium full strength range, a bit stronger towards the nub.

 

 

 

This certainly was a cracker cigar, so many wonderful balanced flavors in this little guy. A flavor bomb indeed. All I can say is wow - what a treat!
