i do remember a terrific bug dish to kick off. lamb with the latour and a brilliant small beef dish which followed. PJ is a local chef, one of the best, and has been doing great things for years.

but i would have eaten boiled mud to drink those wines.

and no, i most certainly did not drive!

the trio of chambertin was timely as we have a lunch in a few weeks which will look at a dozen or two grand cru gevrey chambertin. i know we have at least four rousseau chambertin and wines back to 1942. looking forward to that.
