mark kurlansky's havana

read a few of mark kurlansky's books - he mostly picks a topic and does it seriously well. Cod. Salt. and a few more i'd like to read - Birdseye, Basques, Paper, 1968, Non-violence.

he has now done 'Havana'. apparently he was a correspondent for the Carribbean for the Chicago Tribune for a decade so knows it very well. book has got some brilliant reviews. it is definitely going on the list but wondering if anyone else has read it?
