For me, it would be:

Bolivar: CJ and PC

Cohiba: not a big Cohiba guy myself but at the moment Cohiba Robusto is spoken very highly of

Hoyo de Monterrey: Epicure 1 (and 2)

H.Upmann: Connoisseur 1 and Magnum 46

Montecristo: Especial 1 and 2

Partagas: Shorts

PL: Montecarlos

Punch: Punch Punch

RA: Superiores and Small Club Coronas

RyJ: Exhibition 4

Very personal of course, hope that helps nonetheless.

Cheers, Alex

I think what you can take away is that there are more than just one cigar per brand that represents the experience. In several brands that small ring gages taste different than the larger ring gages. Some brands like Cohiba have sub-lines that taste a little different while still maintaining the Cohiba undertones.

Enjoy the experience! Figuring out what you like is half the fun!

LOL The topic had me all intrigued but I think what this poll shows is that there really is no benchmark. biggrin.png

Well, maybe not all is lost. Let me tally it up to see where we're at.

Gents,

at the end of the day the running total is (and I'm just leaving frontrunners at this point):

Bolivar:

PC - 5 votes

BBF - 5 votes

Cohiba:

Robusto - 6 votes

Esplendidos - 6 votes

Hoyo de Monterrey:

Epi N2 - 10 votes!!! (runaway)

H.Upmann (only 1 vote for Connie A ? ):

Sir Winston - 6 votes

Mag 46 and N.2 - 4 votes each

Montecristo:

N.2 - 8 votes

Espy 1- 4 votes

Partagas (very spread out, with Lusi getting 4 votes and Shorts 3):

898 - 7 votes

D4 - 5 votes

PL (very surprised by results, definitely thought it would be tighter, expected more votes for Encantos):

PC - 10 votes (runaway)

Punch (this one I did expect):

Punch Punch - 12 votes

RA:

RASS - 9 votes

RASCC - 4 votes

RyJ:

Exhibition N.4 - 4 votes

Trinidad:

Fundadores - 7 votes

If that's the case, you're selling yourself short on Ramon Allones, Rafael Gonzalez, and Por Larranaga - probably my 3 favorite brands!ohmy.png
