  1. Di - the tickets are the easy part. Tell him to take a look at www.stubhub.com. He should be able to get them through there and they have a buyer protection program too. Im not sure on the Christmas experience, but it will depend on his budget of course. If he wants to see a really opulent display he can go to the Plaza or the Waldorf Astoria in midtown. If he is staying in the financial district downtown he will need to familiarize himself with the subway, which is easier than it sounds. All the major lines run through downtown but a lot of Christmas displays are in mid-town, including Rockefeller center and the hotels I mentioned. Good luck, if he has any specific questions he is welcome to drop me a line, you have the email
  2. Hi all, I will be in Hong Kong for a few weeks starting next Saturday and will be staying at the Mandarin in Central. I see there are a number of cigar shops/lounges not too far from where I will be. Would any of you be kind enough to recommend a few lounges / shops that I shouldn't miss while there? Also, if there are any stores that I should do some box hunting in, I would be grateful for that recommendation too. Thanks.
  3. No, these were for the Spanish market exclusively. On LCDH owner purchased a number of them and was reselling them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It is exclusive to the Spanish market, it is a release for both magicos (out now) and genios, coming out soon. The sticks are at least 5 years old based on what it says in the little box insert. I'll also add they are really nice looking boxes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Use it occasionally, I had the same problem as Bartolomeo mentioned. Other than that has always been 100% accurate when it was working right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No, importation of Cuban goods is still not authorized unless traveling directly from Cuba. I read the update to the Federal Register that will be published tomorrow and it expressly deals with importation, even in hand luggage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've seen this as well recently and am curious. Mine was B09.
  8. Woohoo, thanks so much guys! Can't wait to get this and use in on my travels. Fred
  9. I am more excited about this list than I have been in a while. Won't get my hopes up though, I'm sure some will change.
  10. There is an old thread that has some listings of factory codes, it appears from that thread that LOME (LQME?) was the El Lag code, but from 2000, not 2003. 2003 should be CLE or MKO. Edit: also, that sticker inside the top of the box looks like it was cut out with scissors, the border is not even all the way around (even on the same side).
  11. You looked inside, on the underside of the top flap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Box code on the cardboard, under the lip of the lid usually for the Cohiba 1966's
  13. I don't think bar codes came in until 2010 or thereabouts...
  14. Interesting question. Andorra comes to mind, but I'm probably forgetting somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
