  1. I'm very interested in this topic as well, having been trying to decide between Sir Winstons and RyJ Churchills for a while. I've heard nothing but rave reviews of the Sir Winstons. The RyJ on the other hand is the classic, to my knowledge, that you would have likely found Sir Winston smoking. Seems like it had fallen on hard times (but is possibly making a comeback recently??). 2. Pretty straightforward. Both classics in their own right. Thinking about future purchases and looking to see how others think they compare. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 4 or 5 parts tanqueray to 1 part dolin dry - stirred - up - one olive (although sometimes i switch it out for a twist) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It looks like a nice box of cigars to me.
  5. While I'm sure the quality of 12:12:12 boxes will be excellent, I think saying on this thread that they will be HQ or better is putting words in Rob's mouth. Unless I missed something I don't ever remember him saying that.
  6. Don't let that deter you from asking your questions. Some people always respond that way, some because they genuinely want to point you in the right direction and others just to be rude. Others will try to answer your question. I often find that interesting new perspectives are shared when previously discussed topics are brought up again. Either by new members or those that weren't around the first time.
  7. I have a box from Nov 12 as well. I've only had one, but it was fantastic.
  8. I've always wondered how popular NC's are outside of the US where they have to compete more directly with CC's. I'm sure we have a lot of members who can share a little insight.
  9. HdM Epi 2 HdM des Dieux PLPC Sir Winston Monte 2 Monte 4 CoRo Partagas 898 What I consider to be some of the benchmarks, for what it 's worth.
  10. Hard for me to choose between Monte and Cohiba
  11. Whereas I normally choose a wine based on the food it's being paired with (or if it's being paired with food at all...), I normally choose a cigar based on the situation. A reyes or a siglo I after a nice lunch. A nice Epi 1 relaxing on a Sunday afternoon in the yard. Maybe a CoRo after a great dinner. Sure, mood and taste at the time obviously make a difference, and there are a lot of different cigars I could enjoy after a great meal, but what are some cigars that you think go great in certain situations.
