  1. An utterly decadent cab of RASS, TAO JUL 20, arrived yesterday. These go to the bottom back of the humidor for a good nap.
  2. Interesting. I have a Honda Ridgeline. It's a great vehicle for me except the infotainment is an electronic mess. I could see Honda doing better if there were less issues with it. I'd take the Toyota system any day.
  3. Don't be too surprised if he gets mad or is insulted if you tell him the cigars are counterfeit. People often do not like being told they have been scammed. A friend of mine ran a yoga retreat in Cuba a few years ago and brought a box back for her brother. I don't remember all of the details. She bought the cigars from the "monks" at the retreat place......"Those people wouldn't rip people off."was the response when I said you can't buy Cuban Cigars anywhere for that price. I didn't press the issue.

  5. Looks great. That's a nice looking smoker. I'm on about my fifth cook on a little RECTEQ that I got for Christmas. What wood do you like for beef? I found the Kingsfor blend was a little strong and hickory was very good.
  6. I heard this on satellite radio the other day. I've always been a fan of early Elton right through GBYBR. This cut is just Elton singing and piano, Dee on Bass, and Nigel on drums. A tour de force, imho.
  7. Smoke one for sure. I'd put it, out of it's tube, in my desk top at 60-62 RH until the big day.
  8. I had a root canal on the upper far rear molar. The endodontist said the tooth was dead. The procedure didn't hurt one bit. 6 hours later.........not so good.
  9. I've had the same dentist for 34 years and I don't think there is a tooth in my mouth that hasn't been worked on. I suppose the only thing worse than dental work and paying the bill is not having teeth or having tooth pain.
  10. A rock and roll classic. The cover of That's Alright Mama, the only other version I know of was by Elvis Presley, is a tour de force. I'm Loosing You? Fuggetahbotit.
  11. Burningman nailed it. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
  12. I'm not so sure the Conni B is well classified as a robusto. At 54 X 5 7/8th its huge compared to a D4. Any way, all of these vitolas that are an eighth of an inch different than the next closest one seems like shameless marketing to me. I suppose making 10 vitolas in each marca and making every cigar a great one would be bad marketing. I know I could get by with 4 vitolas. That would be a good survey. What 4, or 5, or whatever reasonable # of, vitolas could you live with for ever?
