  3. I forgot how this game works and should of taken a screenshot at the time.. Does anyone remember the box code for the clearance Montecristo Leyenda on 2nd July? Anyone that knows my humi knows I have slight OCD and usually need to label everything [emoji2321] Help a brother out [emoji16] thanks! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  4. Been forever since I posted anything here. The mighty H.Upmann Connossieur A. RAE JUN 15 When Cuba get them right, they're hard to beat.Everything firing on all cylinders tonight with this one - top blend and taste, spot on construction, great ash, fantastic burn, perfect draw. Just so damn good. Nuff said Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  5. Not posted here in forever '07 SLR Serie A from a top BOTL now residing in London,[email protected] cheers bro [emoji108][emoji106] Benromach 15 in glass. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

  7. Hi all, I should of taken a screenshot at the time but was more concerned on getting some as been missing out so often having relocated to the UK with the 24:24 drop time I miss mostly everything. Managed to get a quarter box to try of the Monte Supremos on 23rd November, does anyone by any chance remember the box code? Pretty sure it was GEM but anyone that knows what my OCD tendencies are like..don't follow my lead on having to label stuff lol, once you start.. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. I'm pretty sure I had mild/manageable Covid very early on in March as I too lost my taste/sense of smell; at that time it was only just coming to light that it was a symptom, luckily for me it was only about a month. My attempted cigar session back failed a couple of weeks into self diagnosis and isolation, as my taste and smell was still zero. Kept sampling sticks more spaced apart than usual and my taste and smell eventually did come back, took way longer than I've ever experienced which makes me think it was Covid If it's been months for our brother then most definitely seek medical advice Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. Punch ManTua Edición Regional Italia ASR MAY 19 So I've had these a while and just hadn't gotten round to sampling them like some of you others have. The Laguito no.2 is my favourite format hands down, there's class and sophistication to this vitola, coupled with the blending here is providing a fantastic smoke tonight, so much flavour! Definitely some oomph to the blend (to my palate) and should age well. These days I ignore most other reviews preferring to make an unbiased judgement based upon my own storage preference then smoking experience - from what I've seen in with the majority here, excellent cigar [emoji108][emoji108][emoji106] Damn the Italians do it right consistently, not just the regional editions cigars but I'm also giving a nod to Neopolitan and Florentine suit styles which is another long time interest of mine. Massive shout to our [email protected] who was willing to share with me again [emoji120][emoji120][emoji1666][emoji1666] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Gifted '16 Punch Punch [email protected], bro you were completely right with this one, smoking so well! For whatever reason it's taken me at least 2 years to get to this after this was sent to me in NYC.[emoji1666] One of those true BOTL that I always used to see contributing to various forums (a lot here when I was initially learning about our sport) and actually smoked a vast and wide variety so I've always valued your view and opinions when reading your reviews. Don't see you posting as much lately but life priorities change and social media certainly isn't everything..hope life is well and managing to smoke a few cigars here and there [emoji120] One of those realisation moments, I've never bought a full box of these but this example again shows regular production done right.Such a decent size as well, comfortable and for me perfect ring gauge. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. Live in session, these Trinidad Esmeralda really are fantastic. BSM ENE 20. 2nd try on this now, I love Trinidad in general, another example of regular production done right.Great blend. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Think it's H&F organised. I had an invite yesterday but have to turn it down due to childcare duties and in laws will be over.Gutted to say the least but hopefully will be other opportunities. Enjoy! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  13. Well, way too hot the past week or so. The evenings have been pretty nice. Later start for me today, went to a social distanced BBQ tonight with a few of my son's nursery friends hosted by one of their parents. Lovely couple of hours chatting to other adults! Didn't hesitate to smoke when I got back, knowing the forecast is storms for the next 7+ days the opportunity is limited. Trinidad Vigia MUP SEP 18. Had some bad underfilled examples from this box but thankfully we're back to where they should be.When they're on these are definitely one of my favourite cigars in the HSA portfolio, the flavour profile is all me. Here's to change, we all get complacent at times throughout our lives but without taking some risks this life would be easy.ithout taking some risks this life would be easy. 14. So facking hot during daytime.Had to buy an AC unit this year. Would be suffering too much without it especially WFH and wife 8 weeks away from giving birth. After spending 6 years in NYC, AC was the norm. Definitely hotter summers in the UK, who says there's no such thing as Global warming!? Nicely cooling down here, this La Gloria Cubana Invictos RE Italia hitting the spot nicely. Very slightly underfilled and open draw for my liking but still tasting good. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. La Gloria Cubana Británicas Extra, the delayed 2017 Regional Edition for the UK [emoji636] What a great vitola, the taste is already so good for such a young cigar.Box codes have been 2019 however I wonder if they did sit away for 3 years as to me it doesn't taste that young. That spruced up band is beautiful, reminds me of the great LGC Gloriosos. Tonight's snap giving away my prime location (for those that know) and preferred smoke spot although had to move away from the usual seat due to high wind, didn't want that affecting the smoking experience of this wonderful cigar. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. Happy Friday - here we are again! These weeks are flying by.. Absolutely scorching day in London today.Hottest day of the year so far.Much more reasonable temperature now to smoke. Custom roll repeat tonight. 5 9/10” x 58RG One of the best constructed custom rolls, perfectly bunched, check out the wrapper quality! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. Por Larrañaga Coronas Edición Regional 5ta Avenida (2017) Warming up for tomorrow's herf, seeing friends for the first time altogether in probably 6 months since lockdown Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. I was really in the mood for some more New World sampling tonight but reached for a Cuban. Quai D'Orsay No.54 - MSU JUN 19 I can't say I smoked many of the older generation QdO but for me these No.54 are really great.Obviously huge following on here for these. Enjoying this more than last nights Esplendidos [emoji33] Dodged the rain here in London, been wet most of the day and earlier I was worried I wouldn't get a smoke in tonight. Those Fuente I picked out will have to wait another day [emoji847] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  19. Cohiba Fridays. Esplendidos - ESL DIC 17 I've only really had better luck with more aged ones. A little bit meh/muted to start with, not really into the first third yet so plenty to go. Discovered a little tax work around the past couple of months which is a slight[emoji867]to HMRC, wish I'd known about this years ago. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. Partagas Serie E No.2 - UEB MAY 19. Another regular production cigar done right.Though I love an aged D4, the E2 holds its own in the Partagas line up. Not smoked a Lusitania this year yet so that's on my mind. This one barely over a year old but for me the blend is class. This one was from those handy 5 pack boxes. Don't be complacent in life, to move forward there will be risks and discomfort and there's no failure if you've given it your best shot. Some deep thoughts over the past few months. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Wanted to start earlier today but only just got out so lost the natural light for the photo but this one seems photogenic [emoji847] Got this box in about a month ago from the locker and was keen to tuck in but following my usual freezer and rest routine held off until today. H.Upmann Connossieur A. RAE JUN 15 Like I've said in previous posts, hard to fault anything Upmann, I've really enjoyed these in the past and with 5 years aged these are Tony the Tiger GRRREAT! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Diplomáticos Bushido Edición Regional Asia Pacifico 2014. These eventually came out in 2015. I've smoked enough of these now from different boxes from 2015/16 to say they're all hype IMO.This ironically being probably the best one so far, currently burning pretty shit and relights galore. One of, if not the best presentations in terms of releases with the beautiful artwork and box, the Nro.109 50 x 184mm vitola feels great in the hand (without sounding p.ornographic lol) Looking forward to smoking some other 109's like the Sancho Panza Eslavo which I know is a better cigar, trying the ERdM Kon Tiki 1973 and the LGC Orgullosos (try pronouncing that after a few drams!) Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. Well I had to compare with last night. Cohiba Piramides Extra tubos 2012 Definitely a different cigar, richer depth of flavour, longer lasting on the palate.Delicious! Won't open the topic of value, cause we all know Cohiba can be hit or miss. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
