  1. Brilliant article Ken, thanks for sharing! As the co-owner of an independent coffee shop here in London, and employing almost exclusively Aussie baristas, I can totally see why Starbucks just hasn't worked in Oz. Without the shadow of a doubt, London owes its vibrant coffee culture to Australian entrepreneurs who opened the first indies about 10 years ago [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Forgive the OT, Rob, but are there many Bushidos boxes due to arrive?
  3. That is astounding indeed... Glad I managed to secure a handful of them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Really looking forward to the Montecristo Dantes LE.. With a 48 RG and a largo of 167 that's about the perfect vitola for me. Montecristo have never disappointed me with their LE's.
  5. Finally managed to put some time aside to fire up this behemoth. Good balance of flavours throughout with nuttiness, spices and leather well amalgamated. Strength on light to medium for all three tercios, which is a bit of a letdown IMO for a cigar of this size. Perfect burn and draw, showing real craftsmanship has gone into the rolling of this cigar. In conclusion, definitely a good cigar yet nothing worth the hype nor the price. Will I buy a box? Probably. However the lack of strength is a bit worrisome in terms of ageing potential. 87/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I love these little ones as well, they pack quite a punch don't they? First ever ER for Turkey...
  7. Thanks @NSXCIGAR for the link, it proved to be very useful indeed...
  8. Olympic Games and Punch Sir John ER Alemania... Rather harsh and one dimensional, far from being a good smoke.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That's a good point Guy. Last time I was there the customs just didn't seem to be that good. Maybe I'll give it another try in February when I'll go to the festival..
  10. Hello Chaps, A dear friend of mine is going to Havana later on this month and has offered to bring back some cigars.. Having been there myself, last year, I know how sometimes poor the selection is in the local tiendas. Has anyone been there recently and seen what is widely available in stock that is worth bringing back? Thanks in advance!
  11. H. Upmann Monarca... Absolute delight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Totally agree on the disappearance of smaller vitolas... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. They are pretty monstrous in size, that's true, but so is the Behike 56 [emoji6] Worth a try IMO... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Managed to get my hands on a couple of them. Beautiful cold aroma, silky wrapper and nice springiness at the touch. Can't wait to fire one up soon! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
