    What's in your glass today?

No pictures, it's been a crazy week. We closed on our house last weekend and took Monday off to move in. Worked late at work all week and was able to leave early for good Friday. Just had an old Forestor birthday bourbon and punch punch, followed by a George t stagg and Sancho panza belicoso. Yum Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

So, what are your recent acquisitions?

They found additional bottles in the warehouse. This lottery ended like 6 months ago. Wow! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

    "high roller bourbons"

There's only a few on this list I don't have. Not sure if that's good or bad haha. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

So, what are your recent acquisitions?

The little vial jars with packing tape around the lids has always worked well for me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

    Vineyard Working/Owning Experience

Pruning and guiding the vines was probably the best because it's a relaxing job compared to the worst one, digging in posts. There's a lot of thought that goes into guiding the growth of the vines to maximize the yield. Too many vines too close together and they'll choke each other out and you'll have lower quality grapes. Vineyard Working/Owning Experience

Putting in posts and running wire to hang the vines, pruning Vines and taping them up, weeding, prepping new lots for planting, harvesting, bottling etc. It was a fun job, I got a discount on wine and food and had my wedding there for a significant discount too. Vineyard Working/Owning Experience

I spent a summer working a winery while in college a few years ago. Mostly did labor work, but tried to learn as much as I could. Don't know much about the wine making, but I hope to learn as the house we are about to close on has several well established vines. Curious to see other responses. The Word's Best Whiskey

Yea abc stores sold thousands of bottles yesterday in VA. Many bloggers said site traffic to their reviews of Henry McKenna increased 1000% over night. It's definitely not anything to go crazy over... My bottle is mediocre at best, but like they say, every barrel is different. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

    The Word's Best Whiskey

I wasn't impressed with my bottle. Not sure it's worthy of any of the recent hype. Unless there are vastly superior barrels compared to what I have... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
