  1. I highly doubt it but does anyone know if Habanos has a sub 38 rg in the works? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have had draw inconsistencies but not terribly so. Some that were more wind tunnely than others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I love Hoyo’s. Palmas Extra’s to me are a great sized cigar: 40 x 5.5”. They exhibit classic Hoyo flavors. I found this particular cigar medium bodied with not a lot of youthful characteristics as they did when I just got the box. I’m down to my last two now and I would like to keep them for another couple of years and see how the flavors develop. From the beginning, a creaminess was present that lasted till the end of the cigar. A tad bit of chocolate to go along as well. In the final third, a lovely almond flavor began to show itself which really wrapped up the cigar nicely. This cigar has evolved nicely to date and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. Overall this was a 91 point cigar. I’d like to guess that this cigar would become a 94-95 point cigar once it hits 5 years old.
  4. Same. I fell in love with the size of the PLMC. It’s also a very enjoyable smoke after I laid mine down for a couple months. Hey JohnS, have you tried the LGC MDO4? I really want to try this one since it’s close in size (and I’m a sucker for thin rg). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’ll definitely be getting the Carlotta’s. The thinner the better for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Por Larrañaga Montecarlo. Man I’ve been loving these! The size is maybe my favorite size. I’ve been wanting to try to the La Gloria Cubana Medaille d’Or No. 4 to see how these two would differ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Scored a 3 pack from 24:24 during the last Tubo mix and match sale. Unfortunately I didn’t record the dates (not sure if there were any honestly) as I preferred to keep the Tubo singles in my humi. I haven’t rested these at all. Went ahead and smoked them all and this is my last one. Honeycomb milkshake and some hay like characteristics. Burned a little faster than I would prefer but a great cigar nonetheless. Aging wouldn’t hurt and I think they would benefit from it but again it was a great mini cigar smoking experience if you would like a 30 minute encounter with a Cohiba. This is a 40 x 4” cigar, which makes it a little less thicker and a whole inch shorter than it’s bigger brother the Siglo II which is a Petit Corona. The vitola I believe is called a Perla which the Monte 5 and RG Perla are also. In case you’ve tried the popular Monte or the lesser known RG and haven’t had this particular Siglo, I would say to definitely give these a try. The Siglo I Tubo is a great cigar to gift to a friend who doesn’t really smoke cigars since it’s a quick trip into good quality Habanos territory. The what did you expect from this kind of cigar score: 95/100 The score as compared to all cigars ever smoked: 88/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. 40 x 5.5” Had a tight draw. Tastes in the beginning were dried fruits with hay. After the 2nd half it started gaining richer flavors. Some chocolate notes followed by a bit of milk coffee. I’ve had these for a couple of months now and I’m down to about half a box. I’ll continue to smoke them until I have around 5 left and try to rest them for as long as I can. Overall a pleasant cigar smoking experience. Sitting outside in my backyard, listening to the birds chirping on this hot, typical L.A. summer Saturday afternoon. This, to me, makes me love smoking cigars even more. 90/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. HDM Palmas Extras I like to go nude early. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Really good. I got this box shortly after it got the #2 spot in CA this last time so it’s been sitting in my humi for about 6 months now? I’ve had a couple so far. They’ve all been good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Every Friday morning, I make breakfast for all my employees and have been doing so for about 3 or 4 years now. Simple stuff, mostly sausage, egg, tomato scrambles with fresh baked bread and some condiments. One of my employees likes to take a picture with me every time so I made a collage of some of the pictures. Basic recipe is: Cut up sausages thinly Cook until nicely charred Put in diced tomatoes after sausages have been charred because if you put before then the sausages won't be charred After tomatoes have reduced down, add eggs At this point, you can either scramble the eggs or leave them as they have been cracked on the skillet and make a sort of shakshouka. Serve with bread and hot sauce and/or pickled jalapenos. You can also switch it up and add bacon or panchetta to the mix.
  19. HU M54 Tubo I believe this is the 2nd time I’ve had this cigar. So far it’s really good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
