  1. Recent arrival from our host! H. Upmann Anejados AML May 07
  2. I have not ordered from him, but there is another individual out there. His name is John and he started building drawers a couple years ago and has quite a following. The one major difference between him and Forrest is the communication. He schedules out his builds and shares status as things progress. https://cigar-coolers.com/ I have used Forrest for a build a few years ago with no complaints and went with him again back in August for some trays. Nothing custom, just basic trays listed on his site. I was told they would ship end of August and I have not received them and have not received any responses to my emails asking for status. Not trying to start a thread bashing Forrest, just relaying my experience.
  3. The sampler pack arrived for me as well today! Can't thank @cfc1016enough for organizing such an amazing boxpass and allowing me to be part of it! Thank you to @awkwardPausefor handling the shipping on the raffle winnings.
  4. Awesome way to end the pass! Thanks @cfc1016 for setting this up and allowing me to be part of it. I'll go with #5
  5. Wow! What a great way to end the week and start the weekend! Thank you!
  6. Enjoyed sleeping in a little this morning. Quick lunch with my wife as we picked up the last few items for our family dinner. Had a chance for a quick smoke while setting up the smoker! Didn't get any pictures of the smoked ribs, but I was told they were good! Capped off the evening watching my son set off fireworks with his little family. I enjoyed watching him being a dad and making sure everyone was being safe. I guess he was paying attention all those years after all!
  7. I agree, I wish I had some thinner pieces to work with. I only have very basic tools when it comes to woodwork and didn't have anything to plane them down or split them. This was put together very last minute, I will get some better suited pieces and swap them out when he returns.
  8. Spent a bit of time adding a Spanish cedar lining to a plastic ammo can for a young Marine preparing to deploy overseas! I am not very good at woodworking, but I didn’t lose any fingers so it is counted as a success! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. PSSITA - Put Some Smoke In The Air! While not exclusively Cuban related, it could apply to either a cigar or to the tires! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Late entry (maybe a little too late)! The original plan was to sit around, anxiously awaiting the arrival of my granddaughter! Fortunately, a couple other items popped up! My Friday activity was unpacking the new humidor my wife surprised me with for father's day and our anniversary! Saturday I attended a cigar event and caught up with some old friends (no pics of that).Late Saturday night, my granddaughter decided it was time to make her entrance! Enjoyed getting to hold her for the first time and passing her back to her dad when it was time for a diaper change! Sunday was spent at the hospital with my granddaughter!
