Lovely Dicko! Yes it's a great sausage. You can't cook on a fire without it! I know tons of people that moved out to Aussie. In fact I was meant to go study in Gold Coast area back in the day. My late father had bought into a car dealership in Caloundra. (spelling?) Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Thought I could show a little bit of love from Africa. More specifically Botswana. [emoji2] How about some Portuguese Chicken, lamb riblets and boerewors. Served it with some crispy smashed baked potato and fried cabbage(sorry no pic). Washed down with some Chivas 🤤 Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
  3. Great BellevilleMXZ! And thank you [emoji4] Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
  4. Bushmills 16yr Single Malt is really lovely! I grabbed a bottle after trying it at a trade show last year. Found it very smoothe and easy drinking. The brand is excellent and you can't go wrong with it. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

  8. Morning everybody[emoji2] So hello from sunny Botswana. We are a neighbouring country to South Africa. We have around 2.3 million people total so we are one of the lowest density countries in the world. We are most well known for diamonds. We provide around 20% + of the worlds rough diamonds. Tourism and Beef are also major exports. Temperatures can hit 115 fahrenheit in summer! I am a retailer of cigars. I have a gift shop located in one of the 4 star hotels here. Mostly jewellery, leather and craft, but we also sell cigars [emoji4] The market here for cigars is small and last year the government placed 30% tax on tobacco goods so it is not cheap to smoke, or drink (45%!). We sell a strong selection of Nicaraguan cigars and then I carry some of the main Cuban cigar brands. (Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo, Punch,Bolivar and H.Upmann) I thought I would post some pics of my braai (barbeque) I did yesterday. Beef is pretty cheap here. You will see in the pics attached, Rump steak = $2.25 a pound, Fillet = $3.25 a pound ! I rolled that fillet in crushed peppercorns, corainder seeds, mustard seeds, rock salt, fresh garlic and a dash of chilli. Flame it for 2 minutes, let rest, cut 2 inch pieces and then finish for about 2-3 minutes until medium rare. Chicken wings are also massive here ( think you guys call them Buffalo Wings that side) and then a traditional SA sausage called Boerewors ( Afrikaans for Farmer Sausage) which you will find in every single butchery in Southern Africa, its a staple! I then made up a cous cous with feta, tomato, purple onion, parsley, olive oil and lemon juice to keep the wife happy. Little bit of chimichurri sauce on the side.. If any of you every come to Gaborone, please contact me and come and say hello [emoji4] Hoping to expand my limited cigar knowledge and meet some new people on the forum!
