  1. You guys have pretty good eyes. I started these cigars in my 62/68 short term storage humi and moved them to my long term aging 69/69f humi because they were so muscle bound and smoked so bad. I have a working theory certain marcas smoke better a little more wet. Lol. I.e. Monti to me smokes better this way and I also moved this box some fonseca no 1’s and punch punch’s also. I have Only sampled the monti’s and to me it was a better smoking experience. These smoked better but flavors still not good. The other ones I haven’t smoked yet. when I received these Fuerzas they were 2nd in muscle only to a box of punch punch REG SEP 18, which even to this day are muscle bound to the extreme and straight tent poles. When I took this cigar out of its storage it was still pretty muscular but def had softened. I dry boxed it for 3 days and it was pretty firm. As I smoked it it def softened up, still was firm but def was a little more wet than I normally smoke, but far from squishy. Maybe it could have used a few more days in the dry box but again I have this working theory so for that experiment it fit the bill. The burn and construction were spot on. Just the flavor profile hasn’t changed much. I have smoked a few principe’s and they start sweet but about 1/2 way through I get this same cardboard flavor. I also have a few Puntas but haven’t smoked any yet...
  2. I got this box sometime early spring and have had about 4 of them. Each one as bad as the next. Flavor profile has been straight cardboard. So this weekends review is perfect to see how these babies are coming along. 1st third wood and cardboard as expected. Hints of twang so I am curious to see how it will develop. 2nd third starts twang city... things r looking up but it’s short lived maybe for about 5 minutes I enjoy it. Then all mineral, graphite and wood not my sweet spot at all. Randomly I get sweet and salty wood which is better than the rest it still not hitting home. Final third more mineral and cardboard. I would say better than my first few but i struggle with this marca. Just format do anything for me. burn really good, draw really good overall was built well, flavors just not in my wheelhouse. I have more so these will easily be held for some time .. maybe as they age my tastes and they will change. Maybe not. I would rate it about 65-70

  4. My first Dip 2. Wow ! I am a monti 2 lover but I may have a new goomah. Bought from down under as a single; creamsicle, twang and sweetness at the end for the first 1/3 so far.
  5. NC. Not bad. had this for some time finally getting a chance to smoke it. Rated 95 by CA. Seems a little generous of a rating but nice leather flavors some wood and pepper as well; and smoothies out as it smokes. Really full at first. Burn and draw spot on. edit. So much pepper into last 3rd had to toss it. This is why I made the switch to cc.
  6. NC. Not bad pretty mellow and had a nice citrus twang for about 1/3. 1/2 way got a little worse but was a gift from a client so made the ride home better.
  7. Wow. Thank god. Here’s to many more years together.
  8. Trini shorts ... but maybe move further away from your job for smoking purposes. Lol. Welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Jl2. This is my 2nd from a 6’er I can’t remember if it was psp or hq. Either way here it goes. 1st third. Almost a jalapeño spice and twang. I mean almost burning my mouth spicy. Then the twang sets in. Reminded me of the upman 1 I smoked a few days ago for about 1 minute. Then the twang leaves and it’s all spice. Like a really young D4. 2nd 3rd some wood but almost all spice turning into a bad, I mean really bad D4 to my tastes. Hoping something happens soon b/c I’m about to toss it. final 3rd well basically maybe 3/5’s. More pepper and spice. Burnt tobacco but not pleasant at all. I pitch it. Just not enjoyable at all for me and no signs of changing. Life is too short. burn was good. Draw was good. Just flavor profile not to my liking it was better than the first one I smoked from this 6’er but my guess is these need some serious time down b/c this can’t be what the followers like. glad at this point I didn’t invest in a box. It’s brother JL1 however is one of my go to’s always good and delivers. I can’t rate honestly. They need more time but at this point I wouldn’t smoke another if I didn’t have 4 more. Hopefully some time down helps. cheers
  10. Anymore cazzies .. I was asleep at the wheel last night.
