  3. So this cigar popped two cherries for me. My first Montecristo and my first cigar review. My palate is not as refined as many of you so bare with me. I received this cigar from a recent 24:24. It’s a little young but smokes well ROTT. The color and texture of this cigar was beautiful. I’m always impressed by the quality of the cigars Rob sells. The draw was perfect. It also burned great. No need for relighting in spite of the South Florida humidity. Taste-wise, I definitely got some hints of coffee and cedar. It also had an earthly quality to it. Some BOTL talk about tasting orange peel but I got none of that. For my first Montecristo, this was a great introduction. I definitely have to cross the No. 2 off my list as soon as I get my hands on one. Excited for more Montes on my Habanos journey All in all, I give it an 8/10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wait, is the rule 100 cigars per person? So if I go on a trip with 3 people and I buy 400 cigars, I can give them each 100 cigars to claim as their own and keep the last 100 to pass through customs I'll be fine?

    H.Upmann Sir Winston

No not technically. They're Double Coronas but I lumped them in with the others because they're in the 7 inch range and late 40s ring gauge.

I need to get my hands on a good Churchills. Whether it be Esplendidos, Sir Winston, Lusitanias or RyJ Churchill

    Miami for a Day

Anywhere outside on the beach is great to smoke a stogie. Deco Drive cigars on Ocean Drive doesn't let you smoke inside. Lincoln Rd. is a great place to walk, people watch and smoke. On the main land, Casa De Montecristo by Prime Cigars is the best cigar shop in South Florida.

I thought it was really good. Pretty spot on and not biased.

    Netflix: The Cuba Libre Story

Just finished the whole series. It's pretty spot on. Everything before 1952 is a little slow but after that, it's binge worthy.

  14. Watching this whole Venezuela crisis, I can’t help but think of Cuba. What would it take for the Cuban people to say enough? I came up in a time when the regime was still throwing people critical of the Castros in jail and citizens were so hungry they were frying sponges. So the similarities are unmistakable. I also think of my parents. They went through that. They starved. They fought. They were scared they would die at the hands of their government. I mostly think how sad it is that they might die before they ever see their home again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
