  1. I would love to do this! I know from regular wine tastings that it’s harder than you think. If you’re blind folded it’s sometimes even hard to guess correctly whether you’re drinking red or white wine (if they’re served at confusing temperatures). I think I’d get 2 out of 6 right. 2. I’ve always thought wheat beers like Hoegarden go pretty well with my smokes, and recently I’ve been doing Bloody Shiraz gin with ice and a splash of soda water. White wines can work quite well for me. If I want a train wreck pairing I’ll go for red Bordeaux or a zipped up American IPA. [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. This BEL DIC 2020 RyJ Belicoso benefited from the extra aging I gave it (20 mins in my top pocket, between receiving the Australia Post delivery and getting to the Italian restaurant downstairs). Smoking well and helping the stresses and strains of the week melt away. Trying not to snigger too much at the box code. Best wishes FOH [emoji41][emoji3577] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Great to see this list, thanks very much. Trafalgar at Brim 28 in Wanchai closed, but there are several places there that are cigar friendly and all casual - Frites, Devino patio, HopHouse etc. Good to see Ruam on the list [emoji41][emoji3577] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 100% I would have bought them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Technically (according to Guy Ritchie at least) it’s the Northerners who are wankers whilst the Southeners are fooking faaairies. I’m a posh Southern wanker myself but I personally can’t bring myself to watch these guys for more than a couple of minutes. I’ve never been a fan of amateur dramatics and they just rub me up the wrong way. I admire anyone who works hard for a living, uses creativity and even more so if they’re working with family members. So good luck to them. But if you gave me a choice of watching them for 2 hours or reaching for the petrol canister and matches, I’d end up loo
  9. Great, interesting review. Thanks for sharing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Like a lot of people on this form I now almost exclusively use the FOH lighter, available in the FOH store (I think you can also ask for one to be added to your next 24:24 purchase). When I’m smoking indoors I like a DuPont or a Davidoff double soft flame. [emoji3577][emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. From my stash, I’d take: Partagas Lusi Monte 2 RyJ Escudos Partagas P2 Seville edition + RyJ Wide Churchill, as I usually suffer from mission creep [emoji41][emoji869] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Personally I do 1/3/5 with 2 and 4 only to be used in dire emergencies. It forces me to make a clear decision in my mind as to crap/ good enough / amazeballs. Otherwise everything ends up as a 3.8 and what’s the use in that? I’m of the opinion that other factors play no small part in my enjoyment, so how precise can I be on the cigar itself? 14. Nice review sir. I had one the other day and it was a similar experience. [emoji3577][emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
