  1. I applaud you’re determination 👏! I would recommend investing in a Perfect Draw tool. I was a NC convert and almost lost interest due to the tight Cuban rolls and my 69% RH way of thinking. I’ve found even the most plugged, tightest rolls can be improved to an acceptable level with the perfect draw. It’s saved me both dollars and aggravation.
  2. Or…buy some Govees 😂. Reverse engineered? Definitely! Lol. Works better than proprietary equipment? Definitely lol.
  3. I’m not sure where El Pres is getting his figures, but I would have to concur. I would guess-timate between 1/3 and 1/2 of production. Americans (the United States variety) love to consume….especially the forbidden fruit!
  4. I think R&J Ex 4s and some Monte 2s would go nicely with what you have going. Both are solid smokes right now that age well and have a very broad appeal. Nothing exotic about them but they consistently put a smile on my face.
  5. I can vouch for the Govee. About half the cost of the Boveda and works well. I too have over a year on the original battery. Once I found them I’ve never had a need to try the Bovedas.
  6. Those bands though. I don’t think any two are alike 😂
  7. I’d say PE at best. Definitely not HQ but could be the lighting.
  8. Blues is my go to more often than not when I’m enjoying a cigar. There’s just something about a good cigar, good drink and a good blues playlist. It just works for me.
  9. I’ve got a cab of Jul Rass that I just cracked open after 3 weeks rest and I was very happy with the results. Better with time? Yes. Very good in the meantime? Definitely! And with such an affordable cc you can keep a cab aging while you dip into a box.
  10. I can respect that and agree that Cuba poses no threat to the US and really never did. The issue is their proximity and history of willingness to aid US adversaries. Had Cuba changed to a “more legitimate democracy” (whatever that means), similar to Japan post WW2, I believe Cuban-US relations would be drastically different.
  11. Imagine if New Zealand allowed Mother Russia to set up shop with the intent of strong arming Australia. I’m sure the Australian government would also hold a grudge. The embargo is not due to the difference in government ideologies. It’s a harsh lesson for threatening US national security. Unfortunately, the Cuban people are the helpless victims caught in the middle.
  12. Since Bubba, K-Dub, Villapoto, Dungey and now Reed retired I haven’t been able to stay interested. I still quasi root for Tomac, but don’t find myself watching like I use to.
  13. I usually enjoy a nice anejo or extra anejo tequila with my evening Cuban. But lately I’ve been mixing up a Beggar's Banquet and it has been pairing very nicely.
