  1. One of the best Lusi's I've had in the last few years. Enjoyed one of the final days of decent northeast US weather.
  2. May 2018 Lusi on a perfect NJ day. In heaven.
  3. 2013 Sir Winston, 2018 fundadores and Padron 80 year Maduro will be the highlights I think.
  4. Fantastic day yesterday with my friend Sonny in Miami. Visited Padron, had one of their HQ-only black label cigars and got to meet and speak with Jorge Padron for about 15 minutes. Cigar was delicious and smooth. Kind of the perfect in-between of an 1926 Series 80 year and a 1926 90th in maduro. We each bought a box of 10, and I bought a second for a few friends to split. Then moved to Espinola and had some fantastic Mexican food and smokes at the cigar bar next door. Had a Partagas Maduro #1 from 2015 and a Padron 1964 Torpedo. Sonny had an aged Upmann 2 after the Maduro. A+ day acr
  5. I was at Padron yesterday and spent about 15 minutes with Jorge. He said they are back to fairly normal production and have product coming in daily. Doesn't expect any sort of supply issue, though their distribution humidor is not as full as usual. Seems like a lot of just-in-time delivery for them as they have very high demand at the moment.
  6. Make sure it’s the doublewood. This is the box. Others may disagree, but I don’t think additional years of age above 12 really are worth the price in Balvenie. It’s a bit more peaty than Macallan, but as someone who doesn’t enjoy Laphroaig, etc. it’s just right.
  7. Balvenie 12 Year Doublewood. Has replaced Macallan as my go-to!
  8. You are very correct. I was looking at ordering some Connie’s and had it in my mind. Too much scotch [emoji51]. Thanks Cairo
  9. 2011 Upmann 2. One of the best I’ve had. Phenomenally smooth, robust flavor. Wish I had a full box with this age.
  10. 2016 Magnum 50 A/T into a Padron Family Reserve 85 Years. Perfect night on the water in Florida.
  11. So the best man also smoked one, knowing they were fake? That's the only thing that rubs the theory that he knew. Why would any knowledgable cigar smoker have a fake cuban at a wedding? I certainly wouldn't.
  12. Epi1 this afternoon, after letting this box rest for 90 days. A bit tighter draw than I'd like but ended up being smooth and delicious.
  13. I have about 18 left from this box. Will be milking them for as long as they're still amazing...
  14. •Hoyo Epi2s from late 19. •Lusis from 2017 •Magnum 46 from ‘20 (easily the most surprising of the bunch) •Vegas Robaina Classico 2011 (absolutely brilliant cigar) •P2s from 2015
